Chapter 6

SCHOOLS OUT! Sorry it's late... I'm a little lazy...

After I told Fury the truth about me, he didn't do anything. He didn't try to kill me or lock me up, he just looked at me. Again, it's creepy, especially with the eyepatch.

"C'mon boy, I want to introduce you to someone." Fury gestured for me to follow and began to walk away.

I struggled to catch up but the pain in my side wasn't as bad as it was when they first gave me the pain pills. "H-hey wait up!" I called but apparently he doesn't like listening...

He cut around a corner and I had to start to run. It was hard to catch up and I couldn't exactly catch up. Only if I had any ambrosia and nectar...

Fury pressed a button and a door opened in the wall next to me. A large man with blond hair and a hammer stood there. Which by the way, scared me half to death. Of course I screamed and fell to the floor. I suppose demigod instincts don't always help... I bet they're cheering right now... Go Percy, go! Be a spazz!

"Young demigod." The man thundered, "are you alright?"

He grabbed my arm and yanked me up. I squeaked and rubbed my bicep and nodded to the big guy. "And thanks Fury! Your really good at waiting..."

"Great, just what we needed. Another Tony freakin' Stark..." A voice grumbled from the big blonde guy with the hammer.

A smaller guy with curly dark hair and glasses stepped out from behind the large guy and rolled his eyes. "I'm Banner, Bruce Banner. Other wise known as the monstrosity as The Hulk."

I shook his hand and looked to the big guy. "I am Thor, of Asgard! We are brothers young male! I too am a demigod!"

I nodded and chuckled. "Uh hi, brother... I'm Percy."

"I'm Steve Rodgers, aka Captain America." A voice said from behind me. I turned around and shook his hand.

"So, uh, what am I exactly doing here?" I asked, looking around at the new faces.

"Kid." A familiar voice said, "Your here so we can see if you can join the Avengers..."
