MAYBE SOMEDAY
The beautiful flowers make the place more majestic. The weather was great, and everyone was just delighted.
"You came," Mannex said as Ingrid entered the groom's room.
"Of course, it's something worth witnessing."
"I know but you should have just rested. I know that you had a busy week."
"Shh, stop it, Mr. Francisco. I'm here to support my best friend."
"I'm your only friend," Mannex said.
"Yeah, we got the other one in prison." She playful answered.
"Mannex..."
"Hmm?"
"Nothing." Ingrid smiled at him. "I'm happy for you."
"Me too, Ingrid."
Cyrene starts walking down the aisle. The whole wedding was exquisite. It was a great idea to have a garden wedding.
Ingrid's phone vibrated. Her kids's nanny sent her a message saying the two kids are doing well.
After the trial, everything changed. Ingrid works at the hospital again. Mannex helped her in finding a trustworthy person that can look after her kids.
"You may now kiss the bride." As soon as the priest announced that, Ingrid started walking out of her sit and looks back at the newlywed.
"You too, Mannex. You'll always be my happiest regret and my greatest what-if."
