Alicia woke up at the sound of her alarm going off. She reached out to grab her phone and turned it off. She tumbled out of bed and into her bathroom. She took a quick shower but didn't wash her hair.

Alicia decided to wear something casual. She wore black jeans and a white simple shirt. She put on converse and put her hair into a side fishtail braid. She Checked herself in the mirror and wasn't pleased with what she saw but there was nothing else to wear, and she didn't really care about her appearance.

She walked to the small cafe she worked at. She arrived 5 minutes early, the store wasn't open yet so she sat at one of the small outside tables. She wasn't the typical social person so she just surfed her very un known Instagram page.

She liked a few pictures and after what seemed like the most boring 5 minutes of her life, her manager was getting his keys out to open the small cafe. He noticed her look up from her phone and flashed her a smile. She smiled back and within a few seconds he was inside and gone to his mini office.

Alicia walked over to the small counter were people walked over to order. She grabbed a wet clothe and wiped down the counter. A few minutes later, the other two workers came in.

Her day went by fast, not many people came to the cafe today. Around 1pm she grabbed her coat and put it on. She waved good bye to the other workers and walked out into the cold autumn breeze. She walked a few minutes before she arrived at her small apartment.

She opened her door and with nothing to do started on her homework from yesterday. She was in midst of an essay when she received a text. It was an un known number so she asked who it was and the mystery number response by saying "it's Dallon from the music store".

She pondered for a brief second, and then remembering the tall beautiful man from the music store. His brown eyes admiring the scenery of instruments in front of him. The small memory brought a smile to her face.

Alicia finished her homework quickly and didn't even hesitate to text Dallon.
Alicia: hello, sorry I was doing homework.
Dallon: it's fine, I was just wondering if you were still gonna come by tomorrow?
Alicia: sure, if you have time of course
Dallon: yeah I do, okay we'll see you tomorrow :)

Alicia smiled at his friendly gesture of teaching her to play an instrument. She still had some time before her classes started so she decided to take a short shower and go shopping for a little while.

Alicia had finished her small task and was now in front of her closet with a towel wrapped around her, while the 1975 was still playing from her bathroom. She decided on a pair of gray jeans and a white shirt, she wore a black cardigan over her shirt because of the autumn breeze that was blowing outside.

The leaves twirled like a ballerina on her dance floor. Alicia brushed her hair as she looked out the window at the beautiful yet saddening season. Alicia lived fall, but it was so sad. Once her hair was ready she put on some black flats.

She didn't even bother checking herself in the mirror, she turned her music off and grabbed her phone from her bed. She walked out into the cold autumn breeze and hugged herself a little, then she realized how awkward has seemed so she immediately moved her hands from her sides.

She hopped onto her car and turned it on, turning the heat on as well in the process. She drove to the small mall with the all American rejects silently playing in the back. She quickly arrived and parked her car. She went to s few stores and ended up only buying a pair of flip flops and a "twenty one pilots" shirt, which she was certain she would use a day after she purchased it, because that's what she always did.

------•------

She arrived home just in time. She grabbed her books and stuffed them inside her book bag. She changed her flats to a pair of all black vans. She changed her cardigan to a black leather jacket. She always seemed to be more punk for school, if you could even call this angel of a girl "punk".

She arrived at her college and it was already dark. She got out and walked straight to her first class. She had, like always, done every bit of homework so she had no troubles with that. Her teachers loved her, and always expected a lot from her.

Her classes were over quick. It was a little bit past 9 when she was already on her way back to her small apartment. She was very sleepy and figured that music would make her even sleepier, so her ride back home was silent.

Once she got home, she walked into the lobby and took the stairs, like always, to the 7th floor. Her room was close to the stairs which was a little bit less walking. She opened her door to the lonely apartment. She sighed at the view in front of her.

It was always the same, the cream colored walls, the small kitchen which she hardly even cooked in, she barely ate, she was always so busy. The small hallway which led to her room and the guest room, which was never put to use. She sat in the couch, and for once in the many years that she had lived there, Alicia accepted that she was alone.

She needed something new in her life, it was always the same. It was time for a change in the same life of Alicia Rickards
