Opposites Attract (Tanjiro x male reader)

"W-what?" I muttered, I looked at Mitsuri in hopes of someone to help me but all that she had was a look of regret on her face.

"You heard me, hand over your katana and your uniform! We all know that you've been talking to a demon!" Giyu yelled, I just stood there frozen, but I slowly started walking towards Giyu. I placed my katana in his hands, and took off the shirt of my uniform and gave it to him.

(Just pretend he's not wearing his haori rn)

"And don't think you're taking Nezuko with you, she's staying with us. Also if we ever find out that you went back to your family we'll kill you! An abuser like you doesn't deserve to have a family!" Shinobu yelled at me with Anger in he eyes. They all froze when started laughing.

"Haha . . . That's the thing. . . You do know that my family's dead right?" I mumbled, they all (other than Mitsuri and Nezuko) had a look of shock on their face, but Giyu's slowly turned into anger.

(Mitsuri already knew, the only reason she didn't tell them the rumors where wrong is because she didn't even know there were rumors going around)

"You really abused them so badly that they're dead?!" Giyu yelled at me, I slowly looked up

"They've been dead for years...and you know today while talking to that so-called "demon" I figured out how to get to their base..." I laughed and turned around

"But since I'm not a demon slayer anymore I guess my information has no use to your team..." I began walking towards the woods, but a hand grabbed me by the shoulder. I froze in my tracks and slapped the hand away.

"Don't touch me you fucking asshole" I said under my breath

"Tanjiro please! We're sorry, come back!" Shinobu yelled

"All you want from me is my information nothing else" I yelled back as I continued walking. Shinobu and Giyu ran after me while Mitsuri stayed behind with Nezuko.

(Btw just for clarification Nezuko is in her box rn)

Nobody pov:
Tanjiro ran faster and faster into the woods, with Giyu and Shinobu following not too far behind. Tanjiro could hear them yelling and begging for him to stop but he ran and ran till his legs became numb.

Tanjiro's pov:
I kept running but I was so focused on that that I didn't realize how uneven my breathing had got, I soon fell to the snow covered floor gasping for air. The air was icy and cold. It was snowing lightly but without my uniform shirt my whole body felt frozen. I did my best to hide I sat and leaned behind a boulder. Salty tears began escaping my eyes. I looked up to see that Giyu and Shinobu were standing in front of me. They caught up to me already?! Well they were hashira after all . . . I trembled in fear as Giyu attempted to grab me. Out of nowhere multiple knives flew over my head and pined Giyu and Shinobu to trees by their clothing.

I stared at them wide eyed until I felt a familiar hand ruffle my hair from behind. I looked up to see Akio sitting on the boulder I was up against behind me, he sat next to me and handed me a nectarine to me.

"N-no thank you" I muttered, he then proceeded to tear the fruit open.

Akio's pov:
I knew that Tanjiro had a strong sense of smell so I ripped the fruit open knowing that he wouldn't be able to resist. I placed half the fruit on his lap and proceeded to bite into the other half.

"Go on, eat up" I said under my breath

"NO! Can't you see that demon is trying to poison you?!" Giyu yelled, I was shocked and a bit sad when Tanjiro hesitated, was he really going to believe Giyu after all that he did?
