Nobody's pov :

Once both Tanjiro and Akio were teleported to the infinity castle Tanjiro squirmed out of Akio's grasp before walking off
"Wait!" Akio pleades grabbing into Tanjiro's sleeve only for his hand to be swatted away.
"Please don't touch me . . . " Tanjiro mumbled while hanging his head in shame
"Tanjiro . . . I don't understand. . . Why do you pity him?! After all the things he's done to you . . . " Akio questioned but he was answered with nothing but silence.
"Please look at me . . . " Akio begged, his eyes glossy and sad, when Tanjiro looked up at him he was met with a cold and lifeless stare.
"I may serve Muzan-sama now, however my only job is to collect information, not to kill humans." Tanjiro stated flatly, Akios brows furrowed
"What are you talking about?! I'm the one who wanted to kill him! You've done nothing wrong!" Akio yelled
"You don't understand, no matter who it is . . . If they hate him for the things he has done to me and kills him for if, it's going to be my fault for letting them know In the first place . . . " Tanjiro mumbled before walking off, Akio stayed frozen in his spot, wondering if he should go after him or not, his mind was jumbled with thought, his vision becoming blurry.
"Let him go . . . You need to give him some space" Muzan said coldly, Akio's eyes widened from the sudden voice but he slowly regained his normal composed face.
"Of course he was listening", Akio thought
"I understand thank you" Akio stated flatly before walking off.

Tanjiro's pov :
"Damn it why did I say that?! He probably hates me now" I mumble, thoughts rushing though my head.
"Don't worry he'll forgive you" My eyes widened and searches to room for the sudden noise, my eyes landed on a child looking demon who was playing some sort of thread.
Nobody's pov:
"Oh! Umm hello, I'm Tanjiro" the young demon made no effort to look at him
"I know" he stated coldy
"Umm what's your name?" Tanjiro ask
"Rui"
" O-okay then . . . Ummm Rui a-are you sure he'll forgive me?" Tanjiro asked, Rui's eyes wandered towards him and back to the threads he was playing with before answering
"Of course, you too are family, family always has to forgive each other . . . Of course nothing comes without punishment" Rui stated, there was vemon laced on the last word he spoke and it sent chills down Tanjiro's spine.
"Family should never hurt each other. . ." Tanjiro stated confused
"Well my family can't hurt me of course, but when out of line I have to discipline them from time to time" Rui said as he broke the threads
"T-thats not true!" Tanjiro blurted before he could stop himself, Rui's eyes widened slightly as he stared at Tanjiro.
"Family should love each other not fear each other!" Tanjiro continued
"So what?! It's the same thing, even if my family doesn't truly love me they better act like it!! . . . The ones that dont are dead!!" Rui smirk at the last part of what he said, Tanjiro had nothing but look of disgust and pity on his face.
"Do you even know what family love feels like?" Tanjiro mumbled, Rui turned more pale then before but simply looked away
"I can show you if you want . . ." Rui's eyes widened
"R-really?"
"Of course" Tanjiro smiled softly, Rui's face remained the same but small tears began to trickle down his face
"H-hey!! Wait hold on I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry!! I'm sorry I was being inconsiderate you probably already have an older brother!! I'm sorry!!" Tanjiro blurted out apology and apology, before he felt the young demon's arms wrapped around him.
"Thank you . . . Thank you thank you" Rui mumbled as he held Tanjiro tight.
"Of course" Tanjiro said as he smiled and held Rui.
