Orion walked along the dirt path on his way back to his own estate.

His arm was still in pain but it wasn't unbearable. He could still manage. If it came to the worst case scenario of another demon attack, he'd still be able to fight back if need be.

It was almost completely silent.

The only sounds that could be heard was his own footsteps and the leaves blowing in the trees.

In all honesty he should've waited until morning before heading back home, he knew leaving at dusk meant he had the possibility to find a demon if he wasn't quick enough in his return home.

As he walked his way along the path his breathing was slow and calm. His body has never felt more relaxed. It was nice.
He was walking at a slow pace so he could truly take in everything that was around him.

He continued on for ten minutes before he heard rustling in the bushes near him. He froze completely and diverted his attention towards the direction of the noise. He was now in the forest, it was illuminated by the large full moon that was glowing bright in the sky. But his surroundings were still dim.

All of his previous worries about a demon appearing have now became true.

The demon emerged from the bushes. It was tall and its skin was a ashy grey colour. It had muscles which implied that his new opponent was physically strong. He inspected the demon quickly. It didn't seem to weild a weapon.
Lucky for him.

He took a deep breath in before drawing his katana out of its white scabbard. He held it right in his right hand, awaiting an attack from the creature before him.

There it is.

The creature lunged towards him, he threw himself up in the air, dodging was easy. Luckily for him, he was extremely agile. While he was in the air he fixed his breathing and slashed down the way with his nichirin. Doing a small front flip as the blade made contact with the demon. A massive gouging cut crossed the demons back.

The monster stumbled forward before snapping it's body round and attempting to hit Orion once more. It swung it's fist and aimed towards his head. Orion ducked just in time before fixing his breathing once more.

"Star breathing third form; astral strike!"
He took another strike at the demons head. Managing to slice it's head off in one go, the blade slid right through without struggle at all.

He put his sword back in its hold and looked down at the demon. A displeased look on his face. Demons disgusted him.

He walked away. Not caring to look back at the creature he had just slayed.
He continued on his way home.

Once he was back at his own home he made his way into the main room of the estate, he kneeled down on a pillow on the floor and lit the long white wax candles on the low table that was Infront of him.

He could smell food cooking from somewhere around him, the smell was nice. It was probably kazuya cooking food for his return once again.

Kazuya was a young flame breathing user who was in a close, sibling like relationship with Orion. She was around 14, she possessed great power with her swordsmanship but she lacks
The same agility as Orion.

She made her way into the room holding several bowls and placed them down on the table before taking a seat across from Orion. "It's great to see you back Orion!" She smiled, her dark magenta hair was messier then usual, the dim candle lighting made the pink tips of her hair seem more dull.

She wasn't wearing her slayer uniform and instead a pretty pink kimono and she had new bandages wrapped around her left forearm, they were slightly peeking out from the sleeve of the kimono.

"Good evening kazuya." She nodded in response.
"How was your travels?"
"They were eventful, as always..." His voice lowered at the end.
"What happened to your uniform? You must've gotten cold outside without a shirt" she laughed. "I got into a fight and lady kocho took my uniform as it was torn...  Getting a replacement tomorrow hopefully."

"Now will you tell me what happened to your arm?" He asked before taking kazuyas arm and lifting up her sleeve. "Oh it's nothing! I just got a little injured that's all!" She smiled. That's just another few scars to add to the collection of scars that were already littered across her whole body.

The two of them enjoyed their meal together.

"I made sakura mochi, would you like to try it?"

Orion nodded.

The two shared the rest of the night together before they both ended up going to their rooms.

In Orion's room he sat on the floor of his room with the sliding shoji door open as he watched outside.

The wind was still lightly blowing and the cherry blossoms were gently swaying, some of the petals coming loose from their buds and drifting away throughout the garden, resting on the floor after the hit the tall fence that went around his estate.

He continued his gaze on the garden for an hour before slowly closing the shoji door and finally getting the rest he deserved.
