a/n: Hellooooooo. I thought the Partizan series ended with book 4. However, after numerous requests for another that changed. HERE'S ANOTHER PARTIZAN BOOK. ENJOY. SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG ;)

You turn the envelope in your hand, gnawing on your lip as you clutch it tighter between your fingers.
"Y/n."
You glance up to Jamie stood before you, his eyes are relaxed and sleepy, but still manage to burn into yours.
"Open it." He says, holding your arms gently.
Your gaze returns to the envelope. It's a letter from the University you both applied to, Jamie got in, but your's came a little late, and it had been keeping you awake for multiple nights.
"But what if...what if I didn't get in?"
Jamie raises an eyebrow. "You've been asking that question for 3 days. There's only one way to find out."
You grit your teeth, tearing open the envelope and scanning the text with anxious eyes.
Miss Y/n Pumpkin,
We are pleased to inform you that we would love to offer you a place at Bristol University-You stop reading and throw the letter to the floor, clamping a hand over your mouth.
"What does it say?" Jamie insists, swiping the letter from the floor to read it himself. A contagious smile sneaks onto his face as his eyes meet yours, you reflect his expression, happiness swelling in your heart.
Jamie grabs your waist and pulls you towards him, trapping you in a tight hug. "I knew you'd got in." He mutters into your hair, holding you closer.
You laugh, "I didn't think I would."
He pulls away, but leaves his hands holding your waist. "Should we celebrate with Lottie and Ellie?"
"Of course."
----------------------
You spend the rest of the evening relaxing in Ellie's room, laughing, playing games and eating good food. Although the anxious feelings of going to a new place with countless unknown factors remained in the back of your mind, the thought that you're going with Jamie lessens it to nearly nothing.
You glance at him across the room; he's helping Lottie pick up some cheese balls she'd accidentally knocked onto the floor, his hair hanging over his brow and concentration in his eyes.
He glances up and notices you watching him, a small smile growing on his face as he stares back.
You look away, despite knowing him for so many years, he doesn't fail to make you nervous when he watches you with those eyes.
Suddenly Jamie's next to you, the side of his leg touches your thigh, his hand intertwined in your fingers. "Are you okay?" He mutters, brushing his thumb along one of your rings.
The butterflies seem to race up your skin from your hand, and you hate that he still causes your body to have such a reaction with him just being near you.
You lean into him, resting your head on his shoulder. "I'm worried."
There's a silence, as you both watch Lottie and Ellie dancing in the middle of the room, laughing their heads off.
"As usual." Jamie says, finally.
You sigh. "At least this time it's not about a crazy evil group. It's about normal things, normal worries that normal people have. That makes me feel better."
