Another month has passed, and today some members of the Order will be escorting the Boy-who-lived to the headquarters after having been attacked by two dementors.
Nothing noteworthy occurred in this time. I'm still working on my personal magical circle, the free gacha hasn't given me a single relevant thing, and the dungeon escapades are getting shorter in order not to cause suspicion of the other inhabitants.
It was funny seeing the twins reaction when they heard Sirius call Remus by his nickname Moony. They made the legendary "we are not worthy" scene of all Harry Potter fanfics, and after that they discussed pranks all day.
Hermione also came to the house a few days ago, and having someone that understand science is a blessing. After all, I have to be knowledgeable in the subject to use [Elemental Magic], like the fire triangle to [Fire Magic], or the process of condensation of the water vapor in the air to use [Water Magic].
Moreover, when Dumbledore couldn't find a new DADA professor, I was able to get the job. After all, thanks to the [Background Customizer], I have the my N.E.W.T.s with Outstanding in Defense, Runes and Transfiguration.
Due to this, when the youngsters discovered that fact, they asked me for help to finish their summer homework, so right now Hermione, whose assignments are completed, and me are upstairs assisting them with it. Suddenly Ginny raise a question unrelated to the theme that makes the others confused.
- Hey, Freed. What will you do when Harry sees you?
I look at her with a grin and answer:
- He will definitely scream at me and then curse me, or at least he will try. Because, unlike you, he won't be informed of my presence here. But I definitely want to see his face when he spots me.
As she giggles, Ron observes us with confusion and asks:
- Why would he curse you, I don't think you have even meet each other.
I turn to him, return my eyes to its natural color and, smirking, I respond:
- He haven't meet me, but he did encounter my father more that once.
All of their faces pale rapidly, excluding Ginny's, that looks at my eyes and asks with a curious expression:
- Is that magic ot your real eyes?
- They are my true eyes, I use magic to change them so that I don't give people heart attacks.
I look at the others still gaping face and tell them:
- I will go to the kitchen now, Dumbledore must be arriving shortly.
As I leave the room, I hear them bombard the redhead girl with questions.
...
In the basement, the members that aren't part of the Advance Guard are chatting, among them Sirius, Severus Snape, Minerva McGonagall, Bill Weasley and his parents. I'm talking with the transfiguration professor about the school I'll be teaching and the required books, which included of "The Standard Book of Spells" series by Miranda Goshawk and a different complementary book to each year.
She is a bit on the edge because of knowing of my parents, she went to school around the same time as Tom Riddle after all, but otherwise is a pleasant conversation.
Snape is also looking in our direction with a sneer, no doubt jealous of me having the defense post this year. Though me being friendly with two of his school enemies might also have something to do with his expression.
Then, the headmaster came via Fawkes, and we chatted a little till knocks came from the front door, so Mrs. Weasley went to open.
After all the members were seated, the meeting started with the report of the escorting, followed by the situation with the giants, werewolfs, vampires, and we finished with the topic of the Department of Mysteries. Of course, most only know that Voldemort wants something from there, but are unaware of the existence of the profecy.
