Sleep troubles

Hiro Hamada's POV

It was about 12:00 at night and lately I had seemed to have trouble falling asleep.. I didn't know exactly why yet but I'd just toss and turn nothing helping.. No music would help, adjusting the pillows wouldn't help, Getting more warm cozy blankets didn't help. Nothing! I was stuck awake.

So.. I decided that because I was gonna be awake for a little while longer or even the rest of the night, I decided to slowly make my way out of bed, going over to my charging station near my computer. I slowly unplugged my phone and unlocked my password before I jumped in shock, hearing someone else's voice behind me.

"Hiro?" The voice said, I slowly turned around to face them, Seeing it was my brother. I gasped, quickly hiding my phone behind my back. Straightening my posture. "T-Tadashi! Hey. I didn't expect you to be awake.." I said meekly, chuckling nervously.

"I could say the same thing, although I would be asleep if it weren't for you making all that noise. Your bed is realll squeaky ya know." He said to me, walking up to me "What's wrong? Why are you out of bed so late little brother." He asked, putting his hand on my back while leading me to my bed.

"I don't know.. It's just lately I haven't been able to sleep and nothing works! Listening to calming music doesn't help, getting extra pillows and blankets don't help.. reading quietly doesn't help. I just don't know what to do!" I said, burying my face into my knees.

I then felt him put a hand on my shoulder, bringing the blankets up to me as I felt my bed shrinking, seeing Tadashi was sitting on the edge next to me. "It's alright, little bro. I'm sure you can find some solution! Have you tried drinking warm milk? As silly as it sounds, I hear it's a good method for sickness, Or insomnia issues. Want me to warm you some?" He asked, smiling warmly at me.

"I would like that. I guess I am kinda thirsty.." I said, feeling my stomach lightly as I chuckled "Alright. Wait here, and don't go to bed with your phone." He warned me, Taking the phone out of my hand and plugging it back up before I heard him slowly make his way down the stairs.

I sighed softly, propping my pillows up as I lay down again, snuggling up into my blankets and getting as comfortable as I could while waiting for the milk to come. Soon enough, I heard someone coming back upstairs, Of course it being Tadashi. "Here you go Hiro, this should help you." He said, handing the glass to me.

I looked at him questioning my decisions before slowly putting the cup near my mouth, pouring the milk inside slowly. I gulped lightly. Yawning as I snuggled into my pillows once more. Already feeling my eyes get heavy "See? I told you so!" He said, chuckling while patting my head "Good night little man, Love you." He said, Slowly taking the glass back.

"I love you too.." I mumbled, slowly fluttering my eyes closed. Finally getting the sleep I had needed all week..
