A/N: Sorry for the month wait, this chapter was supposed to come out earlier but things in our personal life made it difficult.
Taeyong watches as the familiar scent of burning flesh fills the air.
He finally turns around. The small library had minimal damage, only a bookcase fell over during the fight. Jaehyun is the only one that took 'major damage'. The silence was deafening.
"What was that," Jaehyun finally said.
"That's what's called a monster, a harpy to be exact," the lady behind the desk said. "One of the many, many mythological creatures that are in this world."
"Noona...how do you know?"
"Jaehyun, I've had lots of experience with this. I knew it the first time I saw you, you're one of them."
"One of what...A monster?"
The woman who once stood behind the counter walked towards Jaehyun, helping him up. Even though she was shorter than him, she grabbed his collar, pulling him down to get eye-to-eye contact.
"A half-blood."
She let him go, leaving him in that same shocked state. She walks behind the counter once again, Jaehyun straightening his posture.Taeyong noticed the woman's gaze on him.
"And you, what are you here for? It seems you're from that camp. Camp Half-blood is it?" The gentlewoman propped her elbow on the wood, and leaned her hand on her cheek.
"Yes, I'm here for Jaehyun. It was seen on the radar that his scent was strong, monsters would have been storming in here if it wasn't for someone else's help at camp," Taeyong explained. "It's all Jaehyun's decision, if he wants to go."
"This is a lot to comprehend," Jaehyun said, rubbing his neck.
Taeyong soon stood next to him. Putting his hand on the other's shoulder.
"You see, the more you're around people, the more monsters will come to get those you and those around you," he explained." You are putting others in danger for more selfish reasons, that's the reason we go to Camp Half-blood."
The young man before him started to think about it, the latter could see it. Camp-Halfblood, was a huge camp for half-bloods. Mortals who were born from a god and a human, being half mortal, half god. However, half-bloods excrete a scent that attracts monsters, to be more specific, monsters with Greek mythological roots.
Jaehyun sighed,"I should, shouldn't I." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Sure, if I can keep everyone safe then," he said confidentially
"Great, let's go, we have to go now if we want to make it. We are currently in Busan, to get there by train will take around 4 and a half hours."
"Noona, what do you think?"
"It's an idea, but you should talk this over with Hwa, if you really want to."
The brunette nodded his head. If this was a place where he could be safe from more attacks like this, where he couldn't defend himself. Taeyong knew the feeling of being unable to attack, being defenseless, it once happened to him.
"We have to get going. Whoever 'Hwa' is, he'll have to deal with the results," Taeyong sternly said.
Taeyong took the arm of the latter, leading him out of the small library. The woman kept a stern look on her face, probably facing the fact that Jaehyun was going away.

They walked together side-by-side to the nearest subway station, about a 20 minute walk. The two talked on and on. They talked about school struggles, the camp the two were heading to and more. Taeyong felt that same connection once more. The duo stopped at the station. Jaehyun looked uneasy as they stood there.
Suddenly, Jaehyun tensed up. Taeyong immediately looked back and saw a familiar face. Taeyong turned around.
"Yuta! What are you doing here!?" The boy behind the two stopped. 'Yuta' started to walk towards them. Jaehyun flinched as he came closer, feeling an uncertain wave come over him.
"So this was the kid that Chiron wanted us to save," Yuta said, walking closer. He looked up and down at investigating the new-blood. "What's your name, how old are you?"
Jaehyun tensed up, bowing his head. "My name is Jung Jaehyun and I am sixteen years old."
Taeyong looked back at Jaehyun, seeing the nervousness in his form. "Yuta, don't be so harsh on him," Taeyong said, turning his glare to Yuta.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding, lose the formalities too, it's okay to just call us by our names, since you're younger than us. I'm Yuta and that angry bird is Taeyong." Yuta replied with a smile, hanging his arm around the boy's neck. Jaehyun still tensed up, not knowing what was coming next.
Yuta continued to inspect him. "He's definitely a half-blood, someone who doesn't know their potential yet. So are we going to camp or what?" Yuta insisted. The three turned to one another. Yuta smirked at Taeyong who then realized something and flushed red.
Jaehyun, missing what happened, was kunfused.
"What?"
"Nothing!" Taeyong replied quickly, still flushed.
Yuta laughed. "Should we continue then? We have a long trip ahead."
The triumvirate continued to the train station. Jaehyun not knowing what would eventually happen to him in the future.
