Reunited and Goodbye

He quickly gets off of my and gathers all of our clothes. He throws them behind the couch and I climb behind it too. We quickly put clothes. All we care about is having clothes on not who's belongs to who. We hear the doorknob turn as I struggle to slip pants on. He throws his kimono on me. He put his boxers on and jumps over the couch back onto it. I hear the door open and footsteps approach the couch. I keep quiet.

"Hey have you seen Y/N there's some samurai here asking for her...oh i'm sorry am i interrupting something" The woman says.

It's Nico Robin. I can't help myself anymore. I quickly spring up from behind the couch. Zoro looks over his shoulder at me and gives me a shocked look.

"What did he say his name was?!" I urgently ask.

"Teja" She replies.

I jump over the couch and run out the door. I look out to see him. He's there in the limelight. Teja my childhood best friend.

"Teja!!!" I call out running towards him.

"Y/N I'm so glad I found you!" He says.

I run over and hug him. All i have is Zoro's kimono on right now. I don't care though. I'm happy to be back. I'm happy to see him again.

"How'd you find me?" I ask pull away from the hug.

"I asked around for days! I stumbled across this ship and they told me you were here. But also Y/N...tie your kimono please" He says.

My chest is full exposed. I'm naked under it. I quickly tie it closed.

"Ah ha anyways! When can we go home? I have a lot of training to catch up on" I say.

"We can head back in the morning once it's light. Robin over there was kind enough to show me hospitality and allowed me to stay till morning" He says waving at her.

I turn around and see Zoro far back in the doorway. He's leaning against it and walks back in. I think he's upset.

"Well Teja i'm going to head off to bed. I'll see you in the morning" I say and run after Zoro.

I barely catch him before he leaves the room.

"Zoro wait!" I call out.

He doesn't reply.

"Here's your kimono take it already!" I say taking it off.

He turns around and takes it from me. He surprises me with my clothes neatly folded.

"Get some sleep you have a big day tomorrow" He says.

He gives me my clothes and i put them on. I lay down on the couch and a wave of exhaustion hits me. I fall asleep immediately.

When i wake up i'm woken up to Teja shaking me.

"Wake up already let's go! The rubber man is trying to get me to join his crew!" He says.

The door is busted down and the rubber man wraps his arms around Teja.

"GOTCHA!" Luffy says.

"IM NOT JOINING YOUR CREW!" Teja yells back.

"Come on now Luffy let them go." Robin says from the doorway.

"Awhh okay" Luffy says and unwraps himself.

"Get up let's go! The ship is ready. I want to go home" Teja complains.

"Okay okay..." I say reluctantly.

When i get up I notice something is on top of me. I look at it and it's Zoro's kimono. I try not to look surprised and fold it in my hands.

"Hey why do you have Zoro's kimono?" Luffy obliviously asks.

"I was actually just about to return it..." I say looking down at it.

"Well he's on the helm right now" Robin says.

I walk down to the helm and Teja gets on the boat. I see Zoro practicing his swings.

"Uhm here" I say out stretching my arms with the kimono.

I look down not wanting to face him.

"Y/N lift your head up" He says taking the kimono from me.

I look up at him. His gaze is soft. It makes me feel relaxed.

"Zoro...I don't want to leave you" I say tearing up.

"It's okay Y/N. Become stronger and the next time we see each other we'll be stronger than we are now. I hope one day our paths cross again" He says.

The tears start to flow. I can hold them back. He wipes them away and brings my chin up. He smiles and kisses me tenderly. I try to make it last forever. I want to stay here. I want this to last forever. He slowly pulls away and i keep my eyes closed. I bask in the feeling not letting it leave me.

"Y/N you have to go now" He says.

I turn around to see Teja waving from the boat.

"Zoro, I love you" I say.

"Y/N I love you too"

I ball. This hurts more than a knife to the heart. I hate that i fell in love this this moss haired swordsman.

"Goodbye Zoro"

"Goodbye Y/N"

I hop on to the boat and wave bye to him as we sail out. Back to Wano. Tears fall as I reminisce over the short time i spent on the Thousands Sunny. Goodbye Straw Hats. Goodbye Zoro.
