Kemi's POV💜

“Mummy" Kemi called, she was overwhelmed to see her mom. She had thought that will be her last day on earth.

Her mom was also happy to see her, she barely could contain her excitement.

They drove home and her mom treated her like a queen, for a week Kemi didn't leave the house not even to school.

A week later, at 5:00 am Kemi was preparing for school, her mom had dropped her off, she didn't trust my driver again.

When she got to school, so may people surrounded Kemi, wanting to know whether she was okay. She didn't tell them the truth because it could be anyone so she lied that she had to travel for an important occasion and they bought it. Different gifts were waiting for Kemi at her locker... Gifts like chocolate, cards, some even gave her flowers. At first she was wondering then later got to find out that a rumor spread wide that she had COVID-19. kemi was shocked. No wonder people cared so much about her.

Not only did she get surprises from school but when she got home, her favorite cousin Hannah was already waiting for her in her room.

Mummy told me everything about the kidnap, hope you're okay sha?

The next day, Kemi had a total breakdown after hearing her mom got in a fatal accident, unfortunately she died... Kemi cried her pores out. She was really sad. But not only that, Hannah was diagnosed with a pregnancy of 6 weeks. After putting 1 and 2 together she later realized that she snuck out to meet her “indian boyfriend ” apparently she was pregnant for him and he didn't accept it. Hannah felt like commiting suicide, they went to the hospital to conduct and abortion but the doctor told them that the position the baby is, is very dangerous and it can damage her womb. Hannah didn't know what to do and so Kemi started feeding her and Hannah with her savings.
