Talk About The Past

It was freshmen year and students were seemingly either excited to go to school, to see their friends again not just in Facebook or Skype, Instagram, Snapchat, ooVoo and anything else than that. It would be the first time they'd see all their friends in a few months.

Everything was going well in the first day, girls were screaming as they saw each other again. Of course, there the bullies, the geeks, the popular girls, the goths, and the nerds.

Kevin was a nerd, he had glasses and a jacket to emphasize the nerdiness. As soon as the bell rang for lunch, everyone scrambles outside as he went to our place, an unused classroom. He thinks they're allowed here since they've been hanging out here for lunch since they were in the sixth grade.

There they got a chair from the pile of chairs in the corner and sat as they came one by one. Everyone was so excited to see everyone again. But someone came. . .he was Nick Carter. No one knows him in the group since he was brought by Scarlett Everett but he seemed awfully familiar to Kevin.

Kevin wanted to know him better, to see if he met him before but along the process they both had each separate accidents that led them closer to each other. Soon after that they called each other best friends. They hung out with each other almost everyday, enjoying each other's companies. But when Nick said that he had a girlfriend and it was Scarlett, Kevin felt something he's not used to feeling. . .feeling jealous. Weeks after lots of denial to himself, Kevin gathered up his courage and admitted to himself that he fell in love with Nick Carter. But after a while he suddenly confessed to him. The first time he did say it Nick rejected him saying "I'm sorry."

A few months after that he did say it again but Nick said this exactly "I'm sorry but I will never like you. I'm already taken remember?" Kevin's heart broke completely as everything turned awkward between the both of them as Kevin tried to fix everything by doing his best to move on and just be friends, he gained Nick's trust and became the first person to know each of his problems regarding his girlfriend. Every problem he spouts, a little bit that Kevin's heart breaks.

He got used to it. . .he became Nick's problem solver, consultant, psychiatrist and everything that a good friend could be. Kevin hung out with him almost 24/7 as he didn't get to spend much time with Scarlett because she was busy flirting with another guy named Mikael.

But suddenly Scarlett and Mikael had a fight and Scarlett cried because of it and Nick wanted to be her knight in shining armor.

Kevin and Nick used to hang out 24/7. Before classes start, during classes, lab partner, recess, lunch, dismissal, messaging, Facebook, Skype and maybe every other way to talk.

But. . .after she and Mikael had a fight, she told Nick she wanted to hang out with him, it's just that there were "too many distractions" *ahem* just Mikael. There she hung out with Jim and ate most of Kevin and Nick's time together until she got all of it. He lied to Kevin that he was tired or he was busy but overall he was just wanted to flirt and to talk with Scarlett alone.

There came a time that Kevin felt so pissed about it that he and Nick had an argument over it. It led to those words "I'm sorry, but you can't fix this anymore. . .goodbye." He walked away going back to his classroom as tears forming on Kevin's eyes as it started to pour rain. Kevin covered his eyes and spent almost one period in the restroom crying and punching the wall 'til his hand goes numb and as it starts to bleed. He had never felt this much rage in his life before because think of it this way. . .

They both came into each other's life as they became friends even though we are the complete opposite. He helped me with my problems as I returned the favor by helping him with every problem he ever had. It was mostly about her, he tried his best to solve Nick's problem and see him smile and to see him appreciate Kevin more. He thought that he was there for him more than Scarlett was or ever will be for him.

But suddenly one day, "Ruby" took "Sam" away from "Dean" as she turns "Sam" into the dark side even though "Dean" would catch a bullet for his brother. In reality it's like this, they write intense sex stories of each other and they'd read it again and again. They had their date watching 50 Shades of Grey. They kept making out again and again  again, school grounds or not. But he's blinded that she's cheating on him since Scarlett and Mikael made up and they'd still flirt with each other and Mikael is still flirting with three other girls! I'd be fine if she was a good influence on him but she is the WORST

Since that day, Nick and Kevin haven't talked ever since. They made it seem that they've moved on from each other but they actually haven't.

Kevin ran into Charlie, his one and only true friend who'd accept him no buts. She was Kevin's best friend since the sixth grade. She was the kind of friend that even though you guys haven't talked in a while, the mood is that you're still the best of friends. Unlike Nick, you had to talk to him for him to not get lost.

But ever since they haven't talked to each other.

But a few months later Nick and Scarlett broke up. Nick hayed the idea that she's cheating on him and the guy she's cheating him with is also cheating on her with four other girls. And let's face it. . .Nick is starting to miss Kevin by his side. And all he could ever talk to it about with is to Anna and all Kevin could ever talk about it with is Charlie.

Then the bell rung, Nick snapped back to reality as he saw everyone standing up so he quickly stood up and went to his locker then on to his next class.

Nick really felt bad for hurting Kevin so much before. He tried to slip on his earphones as he snuggle the songs in his phone as the first song that was played was Back To December by Taylor Swift. He felt even worse as he took the earphones off as their English teacher walked in.
