The scene pans through a dirty room. The ambient noise of the summer cicada and the news covering the weather forecast. 'Summer summer summer summer' I thought while eating a bag of chips the last known piece of food in my apartment. The forecast finished rolling into a news break.
It was about the Tokyo manji gang and how they trouble in public again claiming lives again 'oh wow seriously that's great' I thought sarcastically as the news continued on speaking about the identified victims of this tragedy. "Naoto Tachibana" 'huh Tachibana that sounds familiar' I pick up the remote to turn up the TV. The second name was revealed and I wished it wasn't true "the second one was identified as Hinata Tachibana his older sister" he reported. The reality of it hit me like a train 'did he really just say hinata' I muttered in shock. As I thought it couldn't get worse they revealed the next "M/N Saito".
"No way" I sat frozen in place 'apparently my one and only girlfriend Hinata Tachibana and my heroine best friend Ren-chan are dead' I thought as time was slowed until the dreaded banging on my door from my landlady, "hey! I know your in there!" She shouted "oh hi" I answered the door "how many times do I have do I have to tell you to turn your damn TV down! I can hear it from a mile away!" She scolded "I'm sorry" apologized to her as she walked off.
"Kids these days have no class" my head sunk low I closed my door and got ready for my job.
≈Takemichi's workplace≈
I got scolded by my manager for not putting the DVDs back after they were returned once again I apologized and she didn't care. After finishing up I walked home 'Tachibana this whole time I forgot about her until I heard she died' my thoughts were stopped as a group of kids surrounded me 'they called me an old man I'm not that old!!' Then they scrapped someone's car and I had to run.
★Train station★
'I never expected my life to turn out like this living like crap, treated like crap, and always apologizing, I've only had one girlfriend in my life and that was in middle school so I'm still a damn virgin, to top it all off I lost one of my best friends' I was waiting for the train 'WHERE THE HELL DID MY LIFE GO WRONG'
As if time slowed down I was pushed onto the tracks of an oncoming train and in that moment I only thought of Hinata and Ren-chan.
//Flash back//
Girls entered the room to tell Takemichi Hinata liked him. Yamagishi denied it talking about how popular she is.
'to think about it middle school is when I peaked. I was number 2 in a kickass gang of 2nd years and, that was the only time I ever had a girlfriend

'is this like the thing where your life flashed before your eyes' I thought. "Shibuya we've arrived at Shibuya" the conductor announced. "Oh sorry" i excused myself after a lady bumped into me. "Hey! Takemichi!" Akkun called out. I looked around "you coming or what??" Yamagishi questioned. "Wha!-" "what are you doing get off the train" I heard akkun "oh right!" I said stumbling off the train quickly before the doors closed. "Dude, what's your problem?" I looked up and see "M/N!!"
