I pushed Corazon onto his stomach, ignoring the red tint to his cheeks. Grabbing my needle, I threaded it, applying pressure to the outside of his wound. I stabbed it in and began working, the man laying beneath me grunting as I did so. Once I had finished stitching his back, I flicked the lid off the disinfectant and pour it on his back, grabbing a towel and dabbing his wound.

I slowly sat him up and walked to another cabinet looking threw it. I pulled out some bandages and walked back to Corazon. "Now, I want you to come tomorrow. I'll need to change your bandages. And if I find any of those stitches out of place or lose, so help me god!" The man flinched as I walked closer. I smiled and wrapped his chest.

I bent down and picked up his shirt. "Be careful, alright. If you trip and think your back hurt more than it should, come see me. If you don't then you'll need more stitches." I smiled innocently. Corazon nodded his head slowly. "Lift." I tapped his arm and slid the shirt on, doing the same to the other side. I buttoned it up and grabbed his coat putting it back on.

I wetted a paper towel and wiped the blood off his face. "Since you were primarily good I'll give you a little treat." I smiled, kissing Corazon on the cheek. "Now go on, it's time for lunch. Be careful with your back."

I walked out of the room and headed to my room. I opened the door and saw no sign of Law. "Law," I huffed walking out and looking around. I bumped into Dolfamingo and excused myself. "Law tried running." I stopped in my tracks and look back at Dolfamingo. "O-oh," I muttered. Doflamingo grabbed my wrist and dragged me behind him.

We entered the living room as the woman from before and a buff man with a shield held Law, throwing him to the ground. I squirmed out of Doflamingos grip but I couldn't get free. Doflamingo sat down and pulled me with him, making me sit beside him. Buffalo sat by the window, licking his ice cream while he smiled. Law gasped when he saw Corazon, a cigarette in his mouth, staring at the floor.

I started to shake, thinking Corazon rated Law out. I was so focused on trying to save Corazon that I completely forgot about Law. "I think you know why we're here," Doflamingo started. Law flinched and gritted his teeth. "I wanted to welcome you, to the Donquixote family officially. Congrats, kid." I smiled and sigh with relief. Everyone congratulated Law, patting his head. Law looked confused and didn't quite understand what was going on.

I looked at Corazon, seeing that he was already staring. I mouthed the words 'thank you' giving him a smile. Doflamingo's grip tighten a bit on my wrist as he continued to speak. "Just looking at you I can tell you've been through hell and back. You have that hate-filled glare in your eyes. I'll think you have a lot to offer our family. And for you," He smirked, turning to me. "I like you a lot, you're also quite useful." I smiled slightly.

"I've only got three years, so whatever," Law mumbled, looking at me with sad eyes. "Maybe depends on your luck." He chuckled. "W-what do you mean?" I asked. "Allow me to explain. We're what you call experts in the black market and one of our fields is devil fruits. Their powers are vast and sometimes beyond human comprehension. Meaning there may be a devil fruit that could cure your conditions." I stopped listening after that. There was a way to cure Law and it was just some simple fruit. I smiled to myself as I stared at my hands.

I was knocked out of my thoughts when I heard coughing. I looked over to find who the noise was coming from only to frown. Corzon held his side, blood seeping threw his shirt and staining it red. "What happened?" Doflamingo asked, worried as he landed over to get a better look. Corazon pulled out a piece of paper. "An enemy? Did you take care of them?" Corazon nodded as I finally ripped my wrist from Doflamingos grasp. "What did I tell you?" I scolded. "If you fall, or if your back hurts more than it should." I got up and grabbed Corazon's arm, dragging him back to the infirmary.

I quickly changed his bandages and made sure the bleeding stopped. "Is Corazon your real name?" I asked. The shook his head and grabbed out a piece of paper, searching for a pen. He scribbled something down and shoved the notebook in my face. "Rosinante," I mumbled. I like that far better than Corazon, it's pretty." I smiled, the man blushing and scratching his head. "Now come on, Rosi." I winked.

" I winked
