As Matyev slowly regained consciousness, he heard a voice calling out to him. It was Pyotr and Alina, their faces etched with concern.
"Are you okay?" they asked in unison.
Matyev groaned, his head throbbing with pain. "Where are we?" he asked, looking around groggily.
"We're in the woods," Alina replied, her eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings.
"What the hell was that?" Matyev asked, struggling to sit up.
"We're not sure, but before we passed out, we saw a strange light, almost like a portal," Pyotr explained, gesturing towards the spot where they had all blacked out.
"Portals?" Matyev said, his mind racing. "Are we still in Germany?"
"We don't know," Pyotr admitted. "But it doesn't look like any part of Germany we've ever seen."
As they tried to piece together what had happened, they heard a loud explosion in the distance.
"The others were outside trying to fix the engine," Pyotr said, his voice tense. "We have to go and see if they're okay."
They made their way outside, their eyes adjusting to the dim light. The vehicle was badly damaged, and they could see that the engine was in pieces.
"Headquarters, headquarters, please answer," Lieutenant Von Witzland's voice crackled over the radio.
"Try one more time," Officer Peter urged.
But there was no response, and they knew that they were on their own.
"The main engine is damaged, the is damaged, the mechanism is damaged and the vehicle's suspension is damaged," Luke said, his voice heavy with despair.
"But at least the is still working," Brian chimed in, trying to sound optimistic.
"Well I guess we're lucky then, alright, it's already late anyway, we'd better prepare dinner first. Matyev are you, right? Great then, I need you to prepare a dinner for us and them, Alina, Pytor you guys prepare portable stoves. " Officer Aleksandr said
and ordered them to prepare for dinner.
"All right, then how about you officer Aleksandr? We suggest you eat too." Suggested Pyotr
"Don't worry, Officer Peter and I will eat later, you guys go ahead." He replied
"Alright, sir. Excuse me then." Pyotr said
they took out all the food that was in the trunk of the APC vehicle and immediately prepared the food.
"All right, eggs have, cheese, and bacon. Looks like it's complete." Matyevy said "how about you guys?" he asked Pyotr and Alina.
"We've got the stove ready, Matyev. We just have to cook the food." Pyotr replied
"Well, let's call them for dinner." Matyev said
"you guys, better get some rest first, let's have dinner." Pyotr told them
"Oh, you don't have to need to cook for us, let us cook the food. sorry if we can't help you because we need to fix some other problem." said Hubert
"Don't talk like that, we are not LSSAH or NKVD. We are one team now. If one is having a problem, the other will help. Come on, eat." Pyotr said.
