Marine arived in the destroyed city. Buildings are still falling, but she doesn't care and goes deeper to find her.
She walks over to see her and Pearl's studio. Or rather, what's left. Tears fill her eyes and she falls to her knees crying.
But she had to keep looking for Pearl. She continued to walk through the city looking for any signs of her dear friend.
She starts to lose hope after searching for nearly two hours.
Her hands and knees are scrapped and blistered from lifting up parts of old buildings.
Her whole body is covered in dust. "PEARL!" She calls out. At this point, she was considering the worst. It was too late and Pearl suffocated.
She fell down and continued to cry. But then, she heard something. Like distant breathing.
She held her breath to make sure it wasn't her own. She could still hear it. She quickly scrambled to her feet and ran through the city to where she heard to breathing.
She quickly began to look under dabri.
She lifted a sign from one of the shops. Underneath laied Pearl, unconscious, but alive.
Marina cried as she pulled her up from the dabri.
She held Pearl close in her arms. Her body was cold and covered from head to toe in dust.
Marina lifted her over her shoulders and carried her back to the mountain were everyone eles waited.
