CHAPTER 8

AUTHOR'S POV

After locking y/n inside her room, Queen ordered the guards to do their duty strictly and don't let anyone to cross the border specifically. Some of the soldiers were sent immediately to run behind Jungkook and to caught him before he could escape. Every single corner was taken up by the soldiers. Meanwhile Jungkook, who was completely unaware of this situation, was on his way. He was running his horse as fast as he could. He was almost near the border when he heard a crowd with strange noises who were following him. A wave of fear run inside him. The soldiers along with their horses were getting closer to Jungkook after every sec. Jungkook didn't glance back at them and continued to run forward.

ATTACK AT HIM BEFORE HE ESCAPES!!

One of the soldiers shouted at other members. They all took out their bows and arrows and directed them towards Jungkook.

ATTACK !!

One of them ordered to others and they collectively threw the arrows at Jungkook. Most of them passed without hitting him as he wore shelter before leaving but a few of them went deeply into his leg and arms. Still Jungkook didn't stop. He pressed his lips firmly. After receiving every single pain through the arrow he was lighting up himself by thinking of you. The happiness of being here and able to meet you was more than this pain which he was getting from the people here. The horse he came here with , was a trained one. It helped him to cross the border finally. But still after passing it, he felt like someone was following him to attack him. But there was no one, just his fear.

Soon he reached his castle. He tied his horse at his place. As he got up from the horse he found how badly he was hurt. The pant of his suit was completely drenched in his blood. He could barely walk properly. Taking support of the walls, he managed to went inside the hall of the castle. Namjoon was already walking here and there. His eyes landed on Jungkook and he stopped right at that time.

Nj : Where were you Jungkook? You went alone without telling anyone!
Jk : Sorry, I thought i would be back before getting late.
Nj : And can I ask where were you?

Jungkook went to him with his trembling leg. He was also shaking. As Namjoon noticed his condition, he run to him and held him to stand properly.

Nj : Jungkook!? What happened to you?
Jk : what you gonna do after knowing it? (Sadly chuckled)
Nj : i guess you are drunk! Have you forget that I'm here to protect you. You aren't allowed to go anywhere without me but you still went and look at your condition now! (Yelled at jungkook)
Jk : it was useless to bring you with me there. Otherwise i would be attacked from my back and from my front too!
Nj : - sighed - you have fever. Lemme take you to your room. We'll discuss about it later.

Namjoon then wrapped his arm around Jungkook's shoulder and took him to his room. He helped Jungkook to sit on the bed. The fresh blood around Jungkook's clothes didn't went unnoticed by Namjoon but he stayed quiet. He was silently scanning Jungkook.

Jk : Don't tell about this to mom or dad!
Nj : As you wish! But i don't think you'll be able to hide it from them.
Jk : leave it on me.
Nj : I'll send soup and some medicine for you. And later I'll treat your wounds too. (he said while getting up from the bed)
Jk : ( he grabbed Namjoon's hand and stopped him) Give me "her" as my medicine! I want her! She knows how to cure me!
Nj : (he pushed Jungkook's hand away politely and turned away from him) I don't like when you beg for that girl. *Cold tone*
Jk : She isn't that girl! She is a part of me. We both belong to eachother!
