Zhongli and Childe had always had a complicated relationship. They were both powerful individuals, each with their own set of responsibilities and secrets. Despite their differences, they were drawn to each other, unable to resist the pull of their attraction.
But as their relationship started to grow more serious, Childe started to notice something was wrong with his health. He had been coughing up flowers for weeks, unable to shake off the persistent feeling that something was lodged in his throat. He had heard rumors about a rare disease that afflicted those who were suffering from unrequited love, and he feared that he had been infected.
Childe knew that his feelings for Zhongli were intense, but he had never expected them to manifest in such a debilitating way. He tried to ignore the symptoms, hoping that they would go away on their own, but they only seemed to worsen over time. He was running out of options and knew that he had to tell Zhongli the truth before it was too late.
Zhongli was stunned when Childe finally revealed the truth to him. He had never heard of the hanahaki disease before, but he knew that it was serious. He was torn between his feelings for Childe and his responsibilities as the Geo Archon. He knew that he could not risk exposing his identity to the world, but he also could not bear the thought of losing Childe.
As Childe's condition worsened, Zhongli was forced to make a difficult decision. He knew that there was only one way to save Childe's life: he had to tell him the truth about his true identity and risk everything he had worked for.
