The Change?

Roger alpheus was the only son and the heir of the dukedom. He was aware to the fact, that siblings can be dangerous in inheritance and he was relieved that he got none to dealt with.

But one part of him still despised being alone. He was delighted that he had two distant cousins. But there personality was, someone can say, worst.

Rosalia Judith, the first twin daughter of Count Judith had a high nose. A very proud and arrogant young lady of the county who despised everyone lower than her.

Penelope Judith, the second twin was a ambition from a tender age. Unlike her twin she knew when or whom she had to bent or use.

He never got to mix with those two. With Rosalia he would feel like a absolutely awful person for keeping a company with her. And as for Penelope, he would always get that negative energy surrounding her.

A feeling that she is unto something. A feeling that she is thinking something big. A fear that she will ruin herself.

His anxiety towards his cousin worsened after hearing the rumours that Penelope was after the crown prince even being engaged to the second prince.

He tried his best to warn her that whatever she planning to commit will only bring destruction.

But the other was indeed Penelope judith, a woman who was not only ambition but also strong willed.

He thought to abandon all his worry and concerns towards his ambition cousin but soon it all vanished in the thick air when he spotted her in a miserable condition at night in front of his mansion.

Roger saw it coming. But he was still stunned but the next thing Penelope told was even more shocking.

Worry, concern, hate, anxiety, nervousness all the emotions gathered around Roger like a thick cloud. But he waited, knowing the fact that he will never able to convince the particular bruennete.

Days passed into weeks and weeks into month. Penelope's due date was close. She was getting thinner, had swallow cheekbones.

Her conditions were worsening. The doctor had told that she would be having problem in giving birth, but none sensed the baby made from dark magic can kill her own mother.

Everyone was anxious, Roger, servants, Rosalia, Count judith, the servants. But not that particular bruennet. She was relieved. She was feeling that she can get whatever she had dreamt for too long, in no time.

And on the other hand there was the crown prince Anastasius. A favoured child of the emperor. The legitimate heir. A person who was ambition just like her.

She could sense that ambition of having something valuable from Anastasius, just like she had.

She can sense that he was a two faced bastard, just like she was a two faced bitch.

If someone, especially Penelope had to choose someone between Claude and Anastasius, than the choose would had been obvious.

And that was what she did.

She bent towards Anastasius. And surprisingly he too.

She wanted the throne and power. And he wanted something too. Something that Penelope didn't knew and never mind.

'Nothing matters as long as she will have power.'

'All the people who are taunting her now, for having adulterous relationship with her supposed to be brother in law, soon will change, when she would posses power'
