Hey yall so im here with the new and improved chapter 1, i hope yall like it.

I was heading down to the office to go see the lord 7th to discuss matter that have been spoken about slightly earlier, when i got in the office, i saw a boy around my age, guessing it was his son or something.
"You wanted to see me?" I said, walking in and taking my place in the room
"Yes, thank you for taking the time out of your day to come here on such early notice, to get quick to the subject, y/n i need you to look after my son, he seems to be getting in a LOT of trouble lately"
He said finishing his sentence with a heavy tone, which I'm guessing hes talking about that train incident.
"Well for the price you sent me, I'm sure i can keep a good eye on him, no hard feelings....?"
The boy cut off, "my names boruto uzumaki" he said
The boy cut me off, "my names boruto uzumaki" he said in a rude tone, wouldn't blame him, after all i am playing baby sitter for a boy my age.
Before i could respond to the blond boy, naruto cut in and said "well you don't have much today cause he has been suspended for the recent uproar he created today, just try to get to know each other so it isn't as awkward"
I really dreaded to hear that come from narutos mouth, because to be honest, I'm not going to spend time around a boy who knows I'm getting paid to be around him.
And he didn't seem too fond of the idea either, but money is money so to speed this up i ended up just saying
"Alright, a little hang out shouldn't hurt" i sent a slight look towards the boy to see what his reaction was to what i said
He let up his guard a bit and just put his hands behind his head and said "alright, but don't act like you have the power over me or something just because my dad sent you" boruto said with a glance towards me
I just knew this wasn't going to be easy

I walked around with boruto for a while after leaving narutos office, boruto sure is a busy person, hes always everywhere and its driving me crazy. I'm starting to rethink my money offer.
As i was thinking i was snapped out of my thoughts by boruto saying
"Cmon y/n you're too far behind" making me realize he was way to far ahead of me for a person i was suppose to be watching, with a quick job, i catched up to him.
He took us somewhere called lightning burger, surprisingly i have never seen this shop before and i have been here for almost all my life, maybe cause i just don't really explore the city much.
Boruto ended up ordering 2 burgers, and turned to me asking if i liked spicy or regular, i responded
"Uh ill have the y/c one" he turned back around to the man and put my order up there, i looked at the menu and turned around to grab the money and he looked at me quickly and said
"Don't worry its on me, just consider it a friendship mark" he said smiling at me
Of course me being me i said "are you sure? I can pay" knowing damn well i was broke and thats why i took up this job
"Duh I'm sure" he said turning back around and handing the man behind the counter the money
Maybe conversing with boruto might not be as bad as i thought, right...?
As we got the burgers we walked over to a table that was outside the shop and sat down
"So are you going to the academy?" He asked handing me my burger
"Yea i guess so if i have to watch over you, i guess I'll just ask your dad about it later on" i said grabbing the burger from his hands
"Well if you are, i have to show you to my friend shikadai, you two seem like you'll get along, you both have a very......simular personality, if thats how you want to put it" he said unwrapping his burger sending a slight smile my way
Ignoring his comment that I'm pretty sure was shade thrown my way, i began unwrapping my burger as boruto took a bite of his, he looked like he was in absolute heaven over there.
The only time i had that feeling today was when i got the news about my payment from naruto
As i took a bite of my burger, i quickly understood why he liked it so much, it was crunchy from the lettuce, the bun was soft and warm, the seasonings on the burger was just how i liked it, not too salty but not bland either.
Although of loving the burger, i kept my composure and kept a straight face, "its good" i said looking up to boruto with a half eating burger in his hands
"Oh my..." i said while letting a laugh come out, he quickly looked at me with a bashful smile
"What can i say, its good" he said smiling
"I'm glad you like it though, i thought u would like it" he said returning back to his burger
After all this time we have spent together, it was fun, but it was starting to get a little dark outside with the sunset forming in the sky
And reminding myself that i am trying to keep him out of trouble, i said
"You should head back home, its getting a little dark outside" i said after i had finished my burger
Getting up and going to the trash can to throw our stuff away, he turns to me and says
"Yea i agree, and make sure to ask my dad about the academy thing" he said turning around and walking to the assumed direction of his home
"Alright ill do that" i said turning the opposite direction to head to my home too
Before i took another step, behind me j heard "Hey, do you want me to walk to home?" Boruto said
"No thanks, I'm fine, if anything i should be making sure you get home" i said laughing
He turned away and said "whatever" letting out a laugh himself

Well there yall go, i haven't watched the show in years so I'm just going off common knowledge, so any criticizism would be appreciated
