To say that my first day at actual college as a sophomore was a success was understating it. All my professors though tricky, knew how to make me have to think a bit, I had already finished most of my homework, only needing to go over my self essay for Mr. Styles class. But I wasn't too worried I didn't have any classes until wens-day even though it was only a day, I could feel myself needing to do something to fill that time.

So thus began my relentless search for a job that paid okay and would be fun. Finally after searching for about two hours a job caught my eye. And in even better luck at it seemed at the time they were doing job interviews tomorrow. Excited I laid out my outfit for the job I would be interviewing for.

A personal secretary.

I was excited as this seemed to be an up and coming business, after I was sure everything was set and had printed off my resume, did I Skype my parents back at home.

They answered on the third ring and were excited to hear how their only daughters first day at college had been. My parents were fiercely protective of me, maybe it was because I was adopted or simply because they loved me so much we had a very tight bond. Even with my brother Tyler, he was an idiotic sixteen year old, with smelly habits and a bad attitude. He seemed to save his smiles for me as I understood his sarcasm and loved playing video games with him. Though my parents had at first taken it hard when he had first started to withdraw from them as he grew into his teen years, they soon let it go, as he joked with the rest of us. It was only out at social gatherings that he drew into himself.

My family was small but we were full of quirky habits and had a good time pulling practical jokes on each other. Maybe that's why it had been hard leaving home. I hadn't been away from my parents or the home I grew up in ever. I was always with one or the other. But it had been part of my growing condition. But late last year I decided that I was going to be a normal young adult and actually attend classes at the actual college no more college classes online.

My parents had argued with me at first, but I knew they saw the benefits I would gain from this excursion but had accepted it after being able to call, FaceTime and Skype with me at set times each week. Some would say it was annoying, but I loved my parents and since leaving the constant calling had lowered considerably.

After telling them about my classes did I then tell them about the job I was applying for, they were excited and wanted to know the results after I got home tomorrow. After promising to come home for thanksgiving and saying our I love you's did we hang up and I soon quickly went to bed after that.

The next morning I felt a surge of excitement, like when I had first moved into my apartment, this was again, a new experience one that I was going through without my family near by.

With their encouragement and my own optimism I make my way driving out towards the big city. My dad had boughten me a newest version  of the range rover mine was all black with silver trims. It was a fancy car, and I loved it.

Don't let my meek behavior have you questioning my taste in cars, sure I wasn't good with styles of any sort but I knew cars. This was my baby, and I loved it dearly. Arriving in the busy city I was worried about parking, after about twenty minutes of waiting and searching did I get a decent parking spot with five minutes to spare. But I had to make it to the top of this massive skyscraper of a building. Huffing I run through the lobby, after confirming where the job interviews were did I go to the nicest elevator I had ever been in. It was gold with a dark rusty kind of blood color. The gold was drawn down into intricate designs, even the music was nice and relaxing. Though I only had about ten minutes to examine this elevator watching as people came and went as I was going to the 40th floor.

It was slightly disheartening as that wasn't even close to the top building, but finally when my destination came was I to exit the small moving lift. Upon stepping into the hall, there didn't seem to be much oxygen as the hall was filled with too many mixed scents of perfume. I choked on the air trying to crouch down as if that would make things easier.

I must have looked odd, as a few woman looked at me with slight concern on their faced before they went back to fixing themselves up. After finding a seat I started to feel as if I might be in the wrong building. But after asking one of my neighbors who seemed to be trying not to poke herself in the eye with a terrifying looking pointy pen, did I confirm that I was in the right place.

As the woman went into the two large glossy Cherokee wooden doors, did the strong stench of perfume slightly decrease. I had been waiting forty minutes when my name was finally called. I quickly maneuvered past the still many body's which were waiting,  before making my way into the interview room.

It was kind of large with big windows and a large office table with cushioned Rollie chair seats. There sat three very important looking  people. An older lady and man, and in the middle a very beautiful women. With her blonde glossy  hair I could tell she was really the one running things. After having me sit down, an awkward silence was drawn out as she read my qualifications. After what seemed like years did she clear her throat and look up at me.

"Denice Johnson, congratulations you're hired." Her voice was sweet.

So it took me a moment before the words registered. Feeling shocked and confused I shakily stood before walking to shake each of their hands.

"It will be a great honor to work for you sir" I said to the older gentlemen figuring he was the CEO.

"Oh darling you aren't working with him Mr. Styles is much too busy to be bothered with hiring his secretary, oh no you'll be meeting him tomorrow at six." The blonde lady states.
