A/N:This is fluffy as fluff can get.
This is the last chapter to this story. I hope you enjoy it, for it is bittersweet for me to end this.

The shelter had housed and fed people for 9 hours before opening its doors. The storm had lifted, the flood was lowering. It took hours for a crew to sweep the roads so people could even drive home without hitting mailboxes and dog houses.

Unfortunately, that was just the tip of the iceberg, there was catastrophic damage throughout the town.

Shingles and full roofs were ripped from buildings, trees that once stood full and majestic barely had limbs attached.
Not only did branches fill the street, but they'd also impale the windows of houses and cars.

Floods invaded houses, wiping walls of photographs clean, and destroying things irreplaceable.

Jasmine's apartment got flooded with about 5 feet of damage and the roof collapsed in the kitchen area.

The greatest thing about their apartment complex was the pond, now she stood in her destroyed home wishing she had never picked that location. Since fish were flapping around in shallow water right in her living room.

"Great. Just amazing. "

She whispered sarcastically entering the kitchen to check the immense damage. Her hand massaged her temple as a migraine begins to hit when she saw the hallway was completely blocked off by washed-up furniture.

"Jeez, I'm so sorry sweetie." Jack huffs while carrying two dining chairs at the same time that were blocking the hallway.

After that birthday incident, Jack was trying his best to be more productive in helping out.

It's a hard pill to swallow, but half of their belongings were destroyed. And, from the looks of it, stolen.

"Fuck.. Kat is going to be so pissed. Is this a police report or a weather insurance issue Jack?"
She asked shakily.
Her neck turned back swiftly, her eyes are big saddened orbs. Begging for some kind of answer as to what she should do.

He placed a hand on the nape of his neck, massaging it slightly.
His head practically drooped when the answer came to mind.

"Both... it's both sweetie. " He mutters angrily because someone came into her domain, during a time of life or death situation just to steal!

Everything she owned was robbed by a natural disaster. I can't imagine what she's going threw.
She's practically homeless.

Kates's door was shut closed but Jasmine's door was left open when they had evacuated. She couldn't drive herself to look..

but....

I
immediately her stomach turned when she entered her bedroom. To no surprise, it was in horrible condition.

Her dresser drawers were rummaged threw, empty!

Her tv was nowhere to be found. Polaroids were warped from water and looked like oil and gasoline spilled all over them.
The picture she had tapped to her mirror that included Murray, Jack, and her father wasn't spared.

Her bed was a giant pink sponge! Her pillows and stuffed animals were washed up into a corner.

Jack's shoes swish threw the shallow water with debris, he bent down to grab a handful of stuffed animals.
