BUT , i want to talk about the characters in which my sona , wyvern , is based off of !!
SO
first off , wyvern takes most of its basic appearance from the game of thrones / house of the dragon wyverns . specifically rhaegal , drogon , and viserion , but also dreamfyre and seasmoke as they seem to all be the same general species of dragon .

NEXT , color-wise , wyvern takes inspiration from smaug . their eyes are generally identical , but wyvern is darker brown rather than bronze .
THEN , in terms of mobility and fire type , wyvern is based off hookfang ! notice how this dragon has an almost molten fire type . this is exactly what wyvern does , rather than completely breathing fire .
AND finally , the last dragon wyvern takes inspiration from , with only one small detail , is the death song ! i mentioned above that wyvern takes MOST of its basic appearance from the game of thrones dragons , but one part is not — the tail . while the dragons from game of thrones have an almost fan-like tail , wyvern has one similar to that of the death song , which , like hookfang , is from the how to train your dragon franchise .
