Chaos Theory Part 1

Chapter 5: The Collapse

June 7th , 5:45 am

We woke up to gun fire outside, Lance looked over at me and said "Should we look?". I looked at him and said "Are you insane I don't want to die". Just then we heard more gun fire and this time getting closer. Lance and I got up and got our clothes on and grabbed the car keys. Lance looked out a small window and said "We need to leave fast these defiantly aren't the army". I grabbed his arm and said "How are we gonna get pass". He looked at me and smiled "That's why you have telekinesis, use it make a shield of air". We imeaditly bolted towards the garage. As we opened the garage door a barrage of bullets began to hit the house I imeaditly began the force field. The bullets pinged off as we drove Down the surbarbs to the highway. Once we left the state it was all quiet , nobody on the highway.

He pulled over the car and said "We need to figure out were we are". I looked over and said "Ohio". He smirked back and said "No dumbass the road were on". As we looked at the map it began to get dark but it was only 9:45 am now. I looked up to see a full on eclipse I gasped in awe. Just then we reached an area were the radio worked. It kicked on and said "Detroit was leveled by a blast just yesterday after noon , and were just getting news that the refugee camp in Trevor city was also attacked, please we advise you to cal the cops at the sight of these mutants, and stay indoors and don't let anybody in". Lance cut off the radio I looked over at him and said "were are we going to go?". He grabbed my hand and said "Florida , I have a old place there could use some fixing up though". I dotted my eyes and said "Dear lord". My eyes met with Indianapolis in battle. Lance pushed down on the gas as hard as he could and said "Use your shield!". I focused all my energy into the sheild. We zoomed past gun fights untouched then we saw barracks for soldiers our soldiers. I lowered the sheild as we drove by. I looked in the rearview mirror to see artillery shells bombarding the city.

June 7th, 4:08 pm

Lance and I made it to safe civilization the roads filled with people. Then we saw Louisville and imeaditly tryed finding an hotel. We found a rooftop apartment. As it got darker you could see the fighting going on in indianapolis. I look towards lance and said "What our next destination?". He looked over slugged "Sleep!". He sprawled out all over the bed. I laughed then said "What the hell happened to this world?". Then I felt weak like I was during just as I was about yell for lance I collapsed. He got up and bolted for me all I heard was a muffled "What's wrong? Are you okay?" Then I blacked out.
