Arthur pov:

This world was a wasteland the constant war and destruction had left it in ruins there were no people , no plants no life , no hope, nothing , just an endless desert reminder of the great civilizations that once were .

"Why are you sulking " Asked a voice from behind me this was my wife Tessia Eralith , she had inherited some special powers after regaining her body which also happened to be the reason the toxic air hadn't choked her she didn't need food air like me she sustained solely on mana now .

"Just thinking about the past " I replied giving her a small smile ,she was the reason I hadn't lost my sanity beside Sylvie and Regis I am pretty sure I would have given up if all of them weren't here to keep me company .It had been 100 years since the war yet neither me nor Tess had aged a day beyond 20.

"Don't worry we will find a way to fix everything we are almost close to deciphering the runes" She spoke in a soothing voice , on a side note her mature voice is hot as f*ck.

"I know papa you have been saying that like I every time we have a serious conversation " Sylvie responded reading my thoughts making me embarrassed .

"What is he saying " Asked Tess oblivious to the conversation in that hot mature voice again .

"He was j..." "Nothing ." I quickly cut Sylvie off before she could give Tess another idea to tease me .

"Well lets get ready for the spell I will be activating my runes and Tessia will provide the extra mana to power the spell" I said preparing the time travel warp.

"Ok" with that we made our preparations as Regis jumped inside my core .

A blinding white light enveloped us all , oops I made a calculation error.

Opening my eyes I found myself in the forest of Elshire I checked around to see Tess lying comfortably in my arms her long gunmetal hair covering her face as she seemed to be enjoying having me as a body pillow . I looked around to see Sylvie grinning at us like a madman .

"As much as I would like to tease you we should get going " she spoke and Tess woke up . Realizing our position she just smirked and went to sleep again normally one would be embarrassed but we have been married for like 100 years at this point.

"Tess honey as much as I would like to continue we have some things to take care of I messed up on the calculations" Tess immediately stood up ready for anything .

"Fine but you will be not sleeping tonight " She spoke in a seductive tone making my hair stand , somethings you just can't get used to no matter how many times you see.

Brushing the thoughts of ravaging my wife in bed aside I focused on the task at hand .

"Well due to our time travel a huge build up of mana happened at this location scaring the beasts in this  area away  so they are headed towards the path we took to reach Rinia's hideout there may be a chance that they will attack the carriage in which the younger us are travelling so this is a good chance as any to warn them of the future " I explained my plan short and simple .

"Well what are we waiting for then let us move " She spoke getting ready to fly .

"We will use god step to reach there " I spoke and she jumped into my arms.

"Even better " She said , man this woman is bold what happened to the princess that would get embarrassed at every little thing .

"Ok " I replied godstepping to the location of the hideout.

Young Arthur pov:

We were moving towards Rinia's hideout when suddenly we were ambushed by a huge number of mana beasts the lances were not present here so we were having a hard time to dispatch them due to their numbers , me and Tess were helping with killing them .
