Miguel I need to see you in my office." Johnny said he wad the only one in the dojo as of now. Miguel always got here earlier than the rest. "Is everything okay Sensei?" Miguel asked as he followed Johnny into his office." "So you're young I bet you've had some girlfriends as of now." Miguel was about to deny that but Johnny continued. "So I met this girl. She is amazing. I'm not gonna lie I haven't been with anyone for a while now but I really like this girl but I'm not sure what she wants. We have this great connection but I'm confused by where we stand..." "Dtr'' Miguel finished the sentence for him. "No Miguel, listen I want to find out what she thinks we are, how she sees our relationship." Johnny explained. "So you want to dtr." Miguel repeated. Johnny raised his eyebrows; he wasn't so caught up in today's slang. "Define the relationship." Miguel said. "Yes, exactly I want to define our relationship." Johnny said. "How do you do that?" Johnny asked. "How would I know that? I'm struggling to even talk to Sam." Miguel chuckled. Johnny sighed he had stooped this low asking Miguel out of anyone for advice.

After practice Johnny rushed everyone out so he could go see you. He had memorized your schedule and it was almost time for you to clock out of work. Johnny leaned on your car he noticed you had today. Hands in his pocket waiting outside until you got out.

"Hey Johnny how are you?" You asked him as you hugged him. "I'm doing good." He said. "I was gonna come to the dojo during my lunch break but I had to give someone a ride." You said. "That's okay. I actually wanted to see if you would like to get some nachos. I know this place where they are really good." Johnny said. "Sure of course." You smiled. You had followed Johnny to this cute little authentic Mexican restaurant.

The waitress sat you both down as you guys. Johnny smiled from across the table as you peruse through the menu. "The Nachos de Asada look amazing." You commented. "Yeah, let me buy you a drink. What would you like?" He offered. "Oh um an Ultra light sounds good." You said.

"Of course you are an Ultra girl." He teased. "I feel a little offended but then again I really can't shoot whiskey without making a face." You chuckled. "Who can actually though?" He asked as he laughed. "Maybe Carrie Underwood could." You said.

After the waitress handed you the drinks and you and Johnny taking a sip he began to clear his throat. "Hey Y/N..." he started. "I really like you... your just so amazing and since that first day we met I just cant stop thinking about you but..." He paused. You smiled wide at his confession but a part of you wondered if this was gonna end not so well.

"But Im not really so good at these kinds of things like I use to be and I even ask Miguel for advice and Im not sure how you young people ask these things so dont laugh at me when I ask you this.." Johnny rambled. "But would you like to go steady with me?" Johnny asked.

You smiled at Johnny you were sure you hadn't heard that phrase ever, only in movies or shows.
"Johnny..." you reach out to hold his hand. "I'd love too." You smiled.

Johnny smile grew wide and his eyes lit up. "Ive never been asked to go steady before." You smiled. "Well im glad to be the first." Johnny said as he leaned over the table to kiss you.
