She was late. Very late. What happened to the Holy Spirit? He was supposed to give her a wake up call. She thought as she hopped off the bus.

I asked you to set the alarm.

She ignored Him. She needed to focus on not being late. They were going to talk in few minutes. But....."Lord, sorry for ignoring You. I know You asked me to set the alarm, but...." She didn't want to give excuses, it was what He was teaching her now. "I'm sorry. Please help me not be late for my first day at work. You know how You and I waited for this. Help me please, Lord"

It was His turn to ignore her. But she didn't see it as so, she just felt He was off arranging things in her favour, she just hoped it was the easy immediate instantly manifesting kind of arrangement.

And it was!

"Namesake!" She heard as she neared the company gates. She looke up and it was Sarah, "You're late." She said with a smile. "Did you attend vigil last night?"

Ashamed she shook her head, "no. I overslept and traffic sold me out."

"It's okay. The first day we started the company, I was here late. Thank God Alex was always punctual to a very annoying fault. But you're lucky, he isn't in yet. I had to convince him I needed an assistant for myself instead of sharing Abbey with him, if he was here? I won't hear the end of it." She smiled again. "Come on, I'll give you a tour before He arrives and then he'll give you your job description. He wants to do that, says I play to much."

Sarah in the office was just as the Sarah she knew outside. She was down to earth, loving and kind. She greeted everyone she came in contact with a smile and they all smiled back, some she even stopped to chat with introducing her as her assistant. It was a full blown an hour and thirty minutes before a male figure like none she had ever seen walked into the office cursing as he stomped by. He was tall, she couldn't say how tall, she didn't even know how tall she was. He had broad shoulders, and his physique screamed I gym.

Lord, you made one fine specimen here. Woah. His damn to cute.

He walked straight into the office opposite Sarah and she immediately left hers walking in after him.

"So you're a church girl."
Sarah looked up from her office desk that looked like no body has ever sat in it and smiled, "hi, Abbey"

"I don't really like church girls."

"Okay." She said with a smile plastered on her face even though her thoughts were going haywire on acceptance. She silently said a prayer, hoping that this work would give her rest unlike the other places.

Abbey looked intently at her gauging her reaction as he said "I'm gay."

She looked up sharply saw the tease in his face, she chuckled and said "I've never met a gay before. Hi gay Abbey, I'm Sarah." She brought forth her hand for a shake.

"You don't think I'll taint you with my...." He asked eying her hand. She shook her head no and he accepted. " But you think I'm headed for hell."

"I think you're entitled to love who you want but then you can't truly love if you haven't encountered Love Himself."

"And that is?"

"God Himself."

"Really." He said with a hint of sarcasm. She wanted to go all into preaching mode telling Him about God, His Son, the Holy Spirit and all They had to offer but there was a restriction in her spirit. "Look I can tell you all about Him but you've heard it all before.....and have seen them act differently. So why don't you find Him out yourself."

He scoffed, "like go on a spiritual journey? Mystism and stuff?"

"Not mystic. Reality. Find out if He's real for yourself. If He is get to know Him"
