After the café trip, Mark dropped Haechan and Jeno home. Jeno had changed his clothes and sat down to eat dinner with his family. "Oh Jeno, how was your meeting?" his mother asked as she put some meat and vegetables on Jeno's plate.
"Horrid. They didn't understand it and want me to change the story line but I can't change it because its a crime movie!" Jeno sighed heavily after he told his mother what happened.
"Jeno I told you, this is a waste of time. You should become a police officer so we can keep the legacy going. Don't you want your future kids to be successful too?" His dad spoke spitefully.
Jeno's father was a retired police man. Even Jeno's great grandfather was a police man. It was part of the 'legacy'. But being a police officer never interested Jeno. But, if he couldn't get a movie, he might as well become a officer.
".. I have come to a conclusion." Jeno said. His parents waited to see what Jeno wanted to say.
"Go on Jenjen hunny, what do you wanna do?"
"I want to become a police officer."
(Fast forward to the police ceremony because I don't know what else to say)
"Certified officer number 1, Lee Jeno."
Jeno walked up very proudly to the stage to get his award. Even tho he couldn't become a director, he became the number one officer as that was all that made him, his family, and his 2 friends happy.
After Jeno got his award, he went to meet up with his friends become going over to his family.
"HEY NOJAM I DIDN'T THINK YOU WOULD MAKE IT THIS FAR EH?!" Haechan practically ran towards Jeno and gave him the biggest bear hug while peppering him with kisses on his face. Mark pried Haechan away from Jeno as he was suffocating the new officer.
"Jeno congrats! Can't wait to see you on the news." Mark spoke.
"Even I didn't think I'll make it this far dude. But, I'm glad I did." Jeno gave his signature eye smile to his friends. "Oh I gotta go meet my chief so I know what post I'll start patrolling."
Jeno ran off to find his chief. After the ceremony, the announcer gave Jeno his chiefs name and how he looks like so Jeno can find him. Once Jeno spotted the man, he went right to him, bowed 90 degrees and started to speak.
"Hello Mr. Lee, officer Jeno Lee ready to report sir." Jeno spoke with great enthusiasm.
"Ah, you must be Jeno, number one rank. Nice to meet you, my name is Lee Taeyong."
"Mr Lee it is very nice to meet you. May I ask, when and where will I be for duty sir?"
"Yes you will be reporting at post 2 everyday at 9:00 am. I expect you to be there everyday."
"I will sir."
"And one more thing, you will have a partner."
'A partner?' Jeno thought. He never expected to have a partner considering he's rank number one.
"Yes, a partner. He rank number one in Jeon-ju. His name is Na Jaemin."
