Scene 7

Jeno and Jaemin reached the school. The minute they both got down news reporters bombarded both of them with questions regarding the abduction.

"Do you know who could have done this?" "Why would they abduct her?" "What do you have to say about this incident?"

Since they both are first time on duty police, they ignored the reporters and immediately went towards the crime scene.

By the time they made it towards the crime scene, they witnessed a man in his twenties, sitting on the ground of the schools main entrance with another male aiding his bruises of red and purple. Jeno assume it was the principal.

"Hello, by any chance.. are you Mr. Moon Taeil, principal of SOPA?"

"Yes that is me."

"Great! I am officer Lee Jeno and this is my partner Na Jaemin. We got a frantic call about an abduction of a student here named Choi Ara. Do you have details or witnessed anything? By your current condition, I assume you were involved with a little fight." Jeno stated after looking at the principals bruises.

"Yes I did witness things. I'll start from the beginning. I was just sitting down in my office doing some after school work when I heard a cry for 'HELP'. I got alerted and looked outside my window to see a student fighting off some weird looking stranger. I immediately ran outside to help her when the the stranger hit me with a metal pipe. All I saw before I blacked out was the weird man taking Ara in his truck and zooming off dropping something. Then when I woke up, Mr. Kim Seok came to my aid and was helping me."

"Hmm intresting." While Jeno was notting everything the principal said, Jaemin was walking around when he saw a small blue box wrapped with a blue sparkly bow. He picked it up and examined it. When Jaemin opened the box and looked inside, he shrieked, which came out more like a scream and dropped the box while a small dolls head rolled out.

Jeno immediately got alerted by the sudden high pitched cry of his partner and ran towards him. There he saw Jaemin looking scared and pointing towards the box.

"J-Jeno in t-the box there's a h-head.." Jaemin shallowly breathed out the words stuttering in the process while looking at Jeno with fright. Jeno carefully walked towards the head and pick it up. Good thing he wore gloves because this head was gruesome. A strange smell emitted from the head. When Jeno turned the head over to see its face, his confused face was changed to the look of horror.

This was no ordinary dolls head. This head had both of its eyes gorged out with some red liquid oozing out of it, there were many cuts on its face, the front piece of its hair was ripped out.

Jeno dropped the head down and started walking backwards when the heel of his both hit the box the head came from. He crouched down and looked inside the box for more clues. He saw a small white paper that said 'Bell Tower'. Jeno wasn't sure what it meant.

Jeno went back towards Jaemin, who was still frightened but calmed down. He showed his the paper to see if it meant anything. Jaemin just shrugged his shoulders.

'BABEEEE RING DING DONG RING DIN-' Jeno's phone started to ring and he was very embarrassed when Jaemin was giving him the 'What the fuck' look. Jeno looked at the caller ID and saw it was Haechan calling.

"Haechan what could you possibly need at this time, im kinda busy on duty."

"Oh Jeno, terribly sorry for interrupting your work but since its almost Mark's birthday, I wanna get him a present but what should I get him?"

"Just give him your love and ask to be his boyfriend ok I gotta go now bye love you!"

"Jeno I-" Jeno quickly hung up the phone. Then again Jeno's phone started ringing. Jeno picked it up without looking at the ID.

"Haechan, I alread-"

"Bell tower."

"Huh what hello?"

"Bell tower." And with that the other line cut.

Jaemin saw Jeno looking perplexed and went towards him.

"Hey Jeno, you good there."

"Huh, oh yeah some random caller called saying 'bell tower' and hung up. If i could give tickets I'd give this idiot caller a ticket for hanging up on a law enforcement officer" Jeno scoffed while looking at his phone.

"Wait Jeno Jeno! Bell tower? Wasn't that on the white slip in the box?"

Jeno thought for a moment. Yes, bell tower was on the paper slip.

"Jaemin wheres the closest bell tower here?"

"I think its the one near the rock garden"

"I think the abductor has Ara held in the bell tower, lets go." Jeno said sternly as both Jeno and Jaemin rushed towards the police car and zoomed off towards the bell tower.
