Baby Zuri is now three months old. She is doing good. Such a sweet baby. Zac took paternity leave for three months along with Fatima. They all have been spending a lot of time with each other as a family. Both trying to navigate in their new world.
Love
Fatima's love life is going well. She never thought she would be this happy and in love until she met Zac. Their relationship has grown stronger. The two got engaged during the baby shower but have not had time to think about wedding planning. Their main focus lately has been baby Zuri.
Family
Fatima's family has been a great help. Between Madea, Madam, Andi, and Lori, even Aunt Hattie has been coming over a few days a week to see if mommy and daddy need a break, something from the store, or just help around the house. Madea has brought food every week because she knows how Fatima is, she can get so busy and forget to eat. Madam and Aunt Hattie has come over a few times to help wherever is needed. While Andi and Lori come by to see the baby and give them a break or a chance to nap.
Zac's parents have visited from New York a couple of times. Mrs. Taylor is trying to retire early so she can move closer to her grandbaby.
They have a village around them, and Zuri is one lucky baby.
Career
Since they both have been on leave, they haven't done much working. They have thought about what that would look like with a baby. Fatima has suggested they hire a nanny, but Zac is against it. He wants his parents to move down and help out while they work.
The firm has been doing good, thanks to Andi. She has stepped up a lot while Fatima has been out, but Fatima loves her job and is ready to get back to attorney mode. Instead of going back to the office right away, she has decided to work from home for a while.
Zac has enjoyed his time home with his babies, but work is calling. Unlike Andi, Jake is having trouble keeping up with all the work. He has Bryce to help him, but he doesn't work as well as Zac. They have lost a couple of clients and projects. Also, they have had contract issues since the last Real Estate Attorney they worked with moved out of state.
