Chapter 9: The Wedding

Fast forward to the wedding. Zac and Fatima have been running every morning before work and have tweaked their meals a little until after the wedding. Fatima has already lost about 15 pounds. Everyone is in Hawaii getting ready for the bride and groom to say I do.

The wedding is about to begin. Fatima is in her hotel with all the ladies getting ready. They cried, they sang, they laughed, and they prayed.

Madea goes to get some tissue. "Aww hell! Y'all got me crying."

"I done messed up my makeup," said Aunt Hattie.

"Oh, you had on makeup. Hehe, I thought that was your natural look," Madea joked.

"Ya'll it's almost time. Get your final touch-ups done before we start crying again." Andi said trying to honor her Maid of honor duties.

All the guests go outside to the venue to have a seat while the bridal party Andi, Lori, Madam, and Baby Z stay behind with Fatima.

"This is it T, last chance to back out," Lori jokes.

Fatima hits her on the arm, "Stop playing. I am ready, "She takes a deep breath, and they head out of the room.

The Bridal Party

Andi is the Maid of Honor
Lori and Madam are the Bridesmaids.
Baby Zuri at 7 months is the Flower girl.

Lori will be holding Zuri as they walk down the aisle and then she will put her in the stroller. The maid of honor and bridesmaids are all wearing rose gold knee-length dresses.

The Grooms Party

Zac's Best Man is his brother Lonzo.
Tony and Preston are the Groomsmen.
They are wearing black tuxes.

The guest includes:
Madea, Aunt Hattie, Zac's parents, and his sister Kizzy. Pam also came to help with the baby. Then there was Jake, Preston's wife, and a few of their old colleagues.

They all stand as the bride begins to walk down the aisle.

Zac's POV

Zac was in pure bliss as he watched his beautiful wife walk down the aisle. Tears started flowing down his face as he thanked God for her.

Fatima's POV

Seeing her night and shining armor standing before her. She thought. Ooh, he is looking so good. I am the luckiest woman in the world.  She reaches the end of the aisle and snaps out of it.

Back to the wedding

"Who gives this Bride away?" The Minister asked.

Madea walks up and says, "I do."
