SIMULACRA

Chapter one.

Eli and Catherine were alone in the bedroom upstairs. They were talking and laughing, like usual nothing out of the ordinary. They were waiting for Renn and Frankie. "How much longer will they take!" Moaned Eli,
"They'll be here soon Frankies always late, probably dragging Renn behind" Said Catherine. "As usual"

About five minutes later they both hear a doorbell from downstairs. "Fucking finally" scoffed Eli under their breath.
The knocking gets louder and faster as they walk down the stairs together. "Coming! Hold on a second!" Shouted Catherine.

They open the door to let them inside, Frankie is stood infront of the door a big smile on her face and a broken phone in her hand. Renn has a annoyed frown on her face looking at them. "Did you seriously have to bring that stupid phone?" They said.

"Yes! Did you not see what it it did!" Frankie yelled.
"It glitched? What's so good about that?" moaned Renn. "Can this wait a second, get in the door" Said Catherine.

They all got in the house and sat down in the bedrooms with snacks. "Frankie" Said Eli. "Mhm?" Frankie mumbled shoving a handful of M&Ms in her mouth. "What's that weird phone about anyway?" Eli asked.
"Oh yea the phone I completely forgot to tell you!" She shouted. "Okay so as we were walking over to your house" she said, "Renn noticed this phone on the ground and it was glitching out like shit!" She continued. "So I picked it up to see what was up with it and-"
"I told her not to pick up some random phone, but guess who didnt listen as usual?" Renn interrupted.
"Can you let her finish?" Said Eli
"Thank you Eli" Frankie scoffed "Anyway! So I tried to turn it on right and something  wild happened!" Frankie turned on the phone and showed them all the screen. "Oh my god! What the fuck is wrong with that phone" Said Catherine her voice sounded confused.

The wallpaper of the phone was a picture of a woman she looked atleast 20, she had long straight blonde hair and big almond shaped brown eyes. She was wearing a white vest and pink glossy lipstick. The phone was glitching like crazy, green, blue and red lines were shooting across her face as the phone made a strange static noise

"Isn't it so weird!" Exclaimed Frankie
"She looks kinda funny" Laughed Eli
"That's so mean Eli" Said Catherine, but as she said it you could hear her let out a small giggle
"It's just a broken phone you're all so dramatic" Renn rolled their eyes.
"Ok but you think that's weird?" Frankie said " Look at this!"

Frankie added random numbers into the password of the phone. All of a sudden the phone let out a loud screech. The numbers glitched out and flashed the letters "7, 3, 0, 9".
And then the phome just turned of.

"What just happened. " Eli and Catherine said in sync

"Ok Renn even you can say that is weird" Frankie said.

"I mean it is weird, but the phone is just broken or something?" They said "Your just scaring everyone." Renn became quiet and began to look at the dark screen of the phone. Everyone could tell they were scared. No one wanted to say anything though, They all were scared.
