Hey shortie! ~ Aidan Gallagher

CHAPTER 3

(Y/N) has now been in Toronto for a few weeks. She has been trying to let no one know that she's in Toronto, not even her closest friends, Ella and Lucy could know it. So to keep people from getting suspicious she kept posting old pictures from her on her Instagram and made sure that she wasn't sharing her location with anyone.

But she also needed to decline every hangout with her friends and just say that she was busy. Which made her a little sad. But soon she could tell them her mom promised.

The day of the table read. (Y/N) was kind of nervous to see Aidan again, It has been a year or 2 since she last spoke with him. Would he have changed? Would he still recognize her?  Did he see her too when she and Robert were hanging out? So many thoughts were going true in her head as she stepped out of the car and into the big office building.

(Y/N) and Robert stepped into the elevator. He kept asking her how she was doing, Guessing he could read the nerves on her face. 

"I'm okay Robbert. Just a little stressed."

"Okay kid, but let me know if you need anything."

The elevator opened and they stepped out. Second door to the right, the lady at the desk had said. There it was, a white door with a simple piece of paper that said: TUA S2 TABLE READ.

Robert turned to (Y/N), "Step in this door and you, (Y/n L/n) will be an umbrella".

(Y/N) giggled at the overly formal way he said it. But then nodded proudly to answer his question. "Yes sir, I understand."

Robert opened the door for her and she went inside with him. Inside a few groups were talking together. Robert went over to the biggest one: the main cast. She saw Aidan standing there too, just looking around a bit, with his back turned to her. 

She decided to go and say hi. So she walked up behind Aidan, and when you were just behind him. You greeted him cheerfully like you always used to do as kids.

"Hey, shortie!" 'Ah, shortie. The nickname she gave him when they were just kids.' 

Aidan spun around in shock and his eyes widened. "(Y/n)?!", he gave her a big hug. "What are you doing here?"

Robert joined their conversation. "You don't know your old buddy is now part of our cast?"

"No?" he said and then directly turned to her, "What role do you have?"

"Daisy Gussman", you said proudly.

Emmy means while also joining their conversation, "Isn't that the new character who is also Five's love interest?" 

"Wait, they listened when I requested her?" Aidan said to Emmy. 

"Of course they do." And before Aidan could answer Steve joined in.

"Ah, (Y/n). How are you?" He said.

"I'm good Mr Blackman" she answered.

"You know you can just call me Steve, right?" he asked in a joking way. 

(Y/N) nodded in response.

"Okay, then let's get started" He said turning to the rest of the group.

They followed him to a big table standing in a U-shape. Robert waved at (Y/N) while pointing to the chair next to him. The seat had a card with 'Daisy' on it. They all sat down. As someone started handing out their script.
