You were just laying on bed staring at the ceiling, it was morning and you needed something to start the day, apparently it felt really boring. You stayed in bed for a couple of more minutes before finally deciding that maybe, why don't you spend some time with your friend Dave? oh well? you both were quite inseperable, but now you two would only frequently hang out with eachother. You pulled your phone out and texted Dave, 

Y/N: Hey Dave!

...

Dave: Oh! good morning Y/N. 

Y/N: Do you.. maybe want to hang out?

It seemingly seemed odd to you that you asked him that, but maybe because your not used to it anymore like the old times.  you kept checking your phone each second if he ever replies nervously sweating fearing the fact he might say no. (I feel ya pain Y/N ;-;) 

Dave: Sure! why not? we haven't done that in forever! 

You saw Dave's message, calming yourself down you sighed in relief and texted back

Y/N: Yippie! but where shall we hang out at? 

Dave: ehh, how bout at my house?

Y/N: Okay! 

Dave: Alright then, I'll see you there at 12 pm!

"12 pm." You kept in mind.  you placed your phone away and got ready, it was 11 am which means you have 1 hour to prepare, so you, not willing to waste anymore time got your clothes out. you chose comfy ones which were jeans and a F/C sweater, you wore your shoes and got your clothes on, then you headed outside your house and started the car. you drove to Dave's house which seemingly was a 50 minute drive.  

You got out of your car and parked it. then you went to the frontdoor of his house and knocked.

Dave's POV: I think I just heard someone knock on the door, it must be Y/N! I thought to myself. I wheeled over to the door and opened it and to be greeted by Y/N. I gave them a warm smile and welcomed them in. "Hello Y/N! I miss you so much!" I hugged them. "I missed you too Dave." they hugged back and pulled away, "So?" "What do you wanna do first?" I asked them. they just let out a shrug, "Why don't I cook us something to eat?" they nodded. I went to the kitchen to set up the stove. 

Y/N's POV: I felt a bit nervous, but why? I know I've quite felt like this before everytime I talked to Dave, but it only seemed mild though it got stronger through time. I think I might be catching feelings for him. But.. hence it'll go wrong if I open my true feelings towards him, I doubt he even likes me back. I think he only see's me as his friend. I thought to myself overthinking. just then I heard Dave shout my name from the kitchen probably he has finished cooking the food already so I shook away the thoughts and made my way to the kitchen. 

~Time Skip~ 

No one's POV: it was now 2 pm, You and Dave decided to head outside. You two went to the park and sat by a nearby tree. it was pretty windy today but also sunny. Dave plucked a flower out from the grass and handed it to you, this made you sorta flustered. "Dave.. I-" you stopped and realized what you were about to say. Dave turned to face you "What?" he said. "Nevermind, It's nothing." you stated. "Okay then.." Said Dave. it was quite a moment of awkward silence. You really just wanted to tell your feelings to Dave on how much you loved him. you two have been friends for almost years, you loved him ever since you've met him and always cared for him. But you just never had the guts to open your feelings up to him. You were afraid he'll reject you. But you could NOT hold this on for anymore longer. you tapped Dave on the shoulder and this time it was for REAL this time, there was no holding back. "Dave you know what.." you tried to not make eye contact with him. Dave looked at you, "Yes?" He Said "I-I.." You would stutter trying to make out your words. "I've always kept this as a secret from the very start, but listen, I've always had feelings for you.. okay? I.. 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 you. now go ahead and just reject me." Dave was astonished at what you said, but he did. He felt the same as well, You were about to go and run away after being somewhat embarrassed but he stopped you and grabbed your hand gently and pulled you into a short kiss. "No, 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼𝗼" Dave said, you were shocked but happy you pulled him in for a hug, you wished this could last forever. he hugged you back, you finally did it. you finally managed to open up your feelings to him. and he accepts it! along with having feelings for you too. the two of you went home hugging and bidding goodbyes.
