So sorry for disappearing! Exams' season!! Ufff!!!

Well here's an update!

I felt so helpless seeing her tremble in my warmth. Yes, i was taken aback with the sudden hug, but hey! I never wanted our first one to be this sad.

Deep down, i knew there was more in her story, something more scary. Well i don't blame her faith, everyone has a particular phase of their past which haunts them every now and then.

I slowly embraced her in my arms, automatically causing her heart to calm down. Her breath became normal making my heart relax.

Don't know why we still were in this position, but it seemed so right.

Ughhhh.. Comeon Manik! Control yourself boy! Don't get distracted!

I swiftly checked over the time, realising it was about to happen anytime soon now.

"Chingu, your surprise for day one is almost here, come.." Softly whispering in her ears, I tucked few of her hair strands behind her ears as they blocked the most beautiful sight.

Parting away, she looked down, embarressly or shyly, I have no idea. All i know is that she is the cutest creature alive.

I was about to say her not to feel uncomfortable, but the sight behind her caught my attention

"It's there! See.." Pointing my finger in that direction, i made her turn around.

A large ear to ear smile took birth on her face at the awestruck surrounding.

There were fireflies all over the place, vanishing the darkness.

Something soft touched my hand, and I saw that she had entwinned our pinky fingers, imitating me, as i did it before coming here.

She was so lost, beaming at those beautiful lives while I was lost in the gorgeous beauty beside me.

My face fell as she escaped her finger from mine. I missed her warmth already :(

As I saw her trying to catch the Fireflies in her tiny hands, I couldn't control myself, from giggling because she was failing in her adorable attempts again and again.

Only if she knew, how blissful she was looking. My heart was at peace seeing that she loved the surprise.

Trust me I had been so nervous throughout the day, aa the doubt that whether she would like it or not troubled my already fallen heart.

I gestured her to let me help her to which, she happily stepped back. After few failed attempts, I finally caught one of them.

She clapped and jumped out of excitement like the cutest child who got her icecream. Forwarding my cupped hands towards her, we together let the firefly free.
