My life had finally got some light after a long thunderstorm and the reason was the peeping sun behind the clouds. Him!

He entered my life as a pleasant wind in the summer, making my soul feel light. Life has never been this smooth before his arrival. Whenever he's by my side, the horrible darkness in my life seems a long forgotten thing.

Something within me changes, when he's with me. The feeling was still unknown to me, but whatever it is, i don't wanna get rid off it, ever!

"You want some?" This boy in front of me, sheepishly forwarded a spoon filled with tiramisu as he probably would have noticed the wet corners of my eyes.

I smiled at his cute. concern before taking a tiny bite. His ear to ear smile had no reason to disappear.

How do I even tell this boy that the reason behind my unshed tears was something I don't want to unwrap, atleast when i am not strong enough.

Never in my entire life, someone fought for me with so much bravery as he did tonight. No one ever, even once cared for me like he did. No one took a stand for my vulnerability and deprived voice like he did.

Yes, i couldn't speak but my eyes expressed a thousand things, my heart craved to say.

I dialled the same number for the 5th time in the last one hour. This guy really tests my patience!

As soon as the call finally got connected, i angrily turned my face.

"I am so so so sorry, princess!" The most familias voice hit my ears.

Well, just like Manik, he too was an exception from the entire world.

He was simply my only family, after 'that night'. We are childhood buddies, family friends you can say! He had always been by my side as my protective armour.

He was like a candy floss. Soft, sticky, beautiful, cute, bubbly, totally worth craving for. I can say, 'Everbody wanna steal my boy' ;b

"I know i have always been a dumb guy but atleast you don't get angry with me, where would i go without you."

And here came that side of the candy floss which blackmails you from a  distance to taste it.

Accepting my defeat, I faced my phone's screen, earning an excited smile from him.
