CHAPTER FIVE !

ESTELLA WOKE UP WITH the most energy she'd had in months. she was running around the field with isabella and carl. their mood was on a little bit of a damper, considering that their dad still wasn't back. however, estella made sure to cheer them up. she also found out that lori was having a baby, and carl and isabella were going to have another baby brother or a sister. estella had always wanted a sibling, but as soon as her parents agreed to have one, the end of the world came and those dreams were ripped straight away from them.

carl was the most excited, as he'd never been a big brother. issy was carl's big sister, so she knew what it was like to have an younger sibling, carl didn't. estella was excited for him.

when she saw daryl with shane, t-dog and andrea packing some guns into the back of a car, she used her energy to run over there, tugging on daryl's sleeve.

"what's up, girl?" daryl asked, turning around to face her.

"where are you going?" she asked.

"to find rick, glenn and hershal. i won't be long." he replied.

"hey, estella." andrea said, smiling. none of them had spoke to her since she saw her dad get shot. "how are you?"

"i'm okay. i'm just playing with carl and issy. did you know that they're gonna have a new baby?" she asked her.

andrea nodded. "i did, exciting, right?"

"yup." she said, popping out the 'p.'

daryl was about to speak, when they saw the car that rick and glenn left in to go and find hershal. they all stood there, and then began to run over. estella followed as quickly as possible, and isabella and carl ran over, too, excited to see that their dad was finally back.

carl ran to him, hugging him, and so did isabella. rick lifted isabella up, due to her weighing less than carl, and hugged carl's head at the same time, then hugged lori. estella saw the jealous look on shane's face when that happened. hershal stepped out of the car, and estella smiled to see that he was safe, along with glenn. maggie ran over, and hershal thought that she would hug him, but she ran straight past to hug glenn instead, making estella laugh and daryl nudge her shoulder.

hershal and his family walked inside, preparing for some kind of surgery as hershal had said. rick was checking that lori was okay, of course to which shane took the credit for.

"who the hell is that?" t-dog suddenly exclaimed, making them all look at the car at the same time.

"that's randall." glenn said, that reminded estella of her favourite movie, monsters inc.
