January tricked you when it looked you in the eye

And said no matter what you've been through with me, you'll be renewed

A promise made at midnight, a fire sale that

Knew it couldn't drag you into something that

A pink haired woman darted across a battlefield collapsing beneath her, explosive rain falling from above where a haunting obsidian grid floated. Her armour was smudged and dented, weak flashes of enchantments flashing across the surfaces while she sprinted for a building that had yet to fall.

It was one of the last remaining structures intact until she got there, intending to help collapse this city far into the earth. Niki wanted to see bedrock, she didn't want any reminders of the place her Wil died for. Determined to prove just how tragic of an ideal this was, she wanted to grind to dust any hopes the bones of this nation had.

It was a doomed venture to begin with, all this conflict and bloodshed had led to so many chances being ripped away from her fellow server members. A place she once felt loyal too looked alien now, smouldering under the capable hands of three dangerous individuals.

Placing down one of her last pieces of TNT, Niki's dainty hands clicked the flint and steel to light the explosive box up. Tossing herself far from the destruction, she covers her ears and waits for the bang.

The ground jolting beneath the force, her ears ring from the close range detonation. She peeks around quickly after rolling to her feet, seeing no one focused on her Niki takes a moment to bear witness to a nation dying.

The first being to walk this word danced on top of that heavy grid of one of the densest materials known to the server members, piling stack after stack of the same boxes Niki had been setting off in the places untouched by that square of death.

A blonde crow with regal night-black wings taunted people standing on the struts of what was the President's beehouse, the glass shattered at the beginning of the battle. His wings spread wide, the Angel of Death sighted his polished bow on the ones who threatened his partner.

Technoblade stood laughing and taunting the two boys who had taken the mantle of this nation after her Wil blew up the first iteration of it. Tommy and Tubbo pleaded for the piglin hybrid to stop, both the Blood God's hands were currently holding Wither skulls while he gave an eloquent speech.

Niki's eyes caught on something that once meant the world to her, somehow untouched from the deadly dynamite falling from above.

L'Mantree, leaves covered in ash, stood proud upon the hill in the distance. A symbol of a country no more, Niki's gut filled with fire upon seeing that piece of their past remain standing.

Checking the durability on her flint and steel, a determined expression firmly in place as she made her way to the oak. It had a few more hits left in it, just enough to finish off this part of her past.

Her pink hair sticks to her sweaty skin, chest heaving and throat dry from the debris being exploded into the air. Taking one last moment to observe L'Mantree standing above its once prosperous land, before starting to collect branches and kindling for the base of its trunk. Pulling a bale of straw from her inventory, she tears the bundle apart and piles it around its circumference.

Mumbling to herself while pressing her soot-covered hand to her forehead in a salute, her musical voice is drenched in despair as she repeated the words of a dear friend.

"It was never meant to be."

Tears in her eyes, she leans down to light the dried grass, screaming as she doesn't pull away quick enough and the flames lick up her bare skin. Stumbling back, she falls into a sitting position while groaning, her skin reddened with burns from her fingertips to her elbows.
