Twenty-four hours. It took twenty-four hours for The Orphanage to expedite the paperwork in order for the omega to be sent to his home. Luther had been working from his home office when the doorbell rang. He had Mercy go answer the door and she returned rolling a large box into his office.

"A delivery from The Orphanage, sir." At this Luthor looked at the box confused. Surely they didn't pack the omega into the box. He motioned for Mercy to open the box. She laid it down and opened it carefully.

Turns out The Orphanage did ship out the omegas in boxes. The omega was curled up on their side packed into foam and comforting, but they were asleep it seems. In the bottom corner of the box in the empty spot just under their legs was a more hollow space with a care package packed into it. He had Mercy pull out the care package and sort through it.

"Looks like the medical records, some information on what they knew of the omega as well as dietary restrictions, and the remote for the inhibitor collar." She looked back into the envelope and pulled out two keys. "Also the keys to the muzzle and straight jacket."

"The crate for the omega should be here soon if I'm not mistaken. Do we know how long the omega has been under?" Mercy looked through the pack of papers to find anything of use but didn't find anything.

"No sir, I guess we'll have to wait for the omega to get up themselves." He nodded and continued to work while Mercy set about getting all the omega things squared away into a file. The remote and keys were placed into the top left drawer of the desk Mr. Luther was working at. They left the omega in the box since there wasn't anywhere for them to go at the moment, at least not anywhere comfortable.

The doorbell rang again. Mercy answered the door and it was a small team of people to build the omega enclosure. Luther had to stop working with all the noise they were making, but the finished product was rather nice. The enclosure was mostly clear but had a corner that was a little more covered for privacy. Cozier than the barred cell she had been kept in. He may have gone a little overboard with the omega prepping, but a happy omega was sure to work out the way he needed them to. He had gotten a bunch of plush materials for nesting or just to cuddle so he could eventually introduce her scent to the alpha he had purchased for Cadmus.

With everything set up all that was left was for her to wake. So to busy himself he pulled up her file and started skimming the important things.

A Fennec fox breed. Roughly in their late teens, if they had to guess. Meta ability is manipulation through touch or voice. Timid and doesn't like loud noises. Allergic to mango, avocado, and oats. Has had previous mating marks but nothing permanent. Previous owners have returned her because she's abused her abilities while in captivity and recommended a muzzle and gloves to prevent further use of her ability.

About an hour later and Mercy was making dinner, the omega started to stir. Luther was watching from over the file he had on hand. She moved a bit groggily but with her arms being restrained it wasn't hard to see why. That and she had been drugged.

"Would you like that off?" Luther asked and watched the omega turn to try and focus on him. "I can take off the collar, and the jacket. I imagine the muzzle makes it hard to eat." He watched her face contort in confusion. She zeroed in on the file in his hands and looked back at him more clearly. "You don't have to be frightened. Mercy is making dinner and I want you to feel comfortable here."

The omega contorted herself out of her box and swayed a little on her feet. She walked closer to Luther carefully.

"I am Lex, Luther. If you ever feel like talking after we get that ghastly thing off you. I can't believe they'd muzzle and restrain someone as special as you." This made her take another step forward and watched as he took the keys and remote out of his desk drawer. He got up and she pulled back a bit. "It's okay, I just want to get that off of you." She nodded and took a hesitant step forward.

He unlocked the muzzle and carefully pulled it off. Then set about taking off the straight jacket.

"Even though I've purchased you from The Orphanage," She flinched at the statement but Luther continued on. "You aren't property here. You'll have your own space, and although it'll look like a cage it won't have a lock like that awful one you had. If you're willing, I'd like you to live here as a guest since I know your kind doesn't have a lot of freedom without an owner. I'm trying to find a way to help you all fight against the injustice you've faced."

He finished pulling off the straight jacket and then used the remote to take the collar off.

"I'll need something to call you." He said as he placed the items down on his desk, he'd keep them for future use if he needed to. She glanced at the items and then glanced at Luther.
