The Paintball Game

*Tamika's POV*

All i can remember is black . I was walking across the road,heard a screech and then a sharp pain in my ribs and stomach. Then everything went dark. I could hear voices and what sounded like sirens before everything was silent.

*Chandlers POV (few hours earlier)

Im just getting ready when i hear some voices downstairs. I make them out to be tyler and tamika talking in the kitchen. I trip downstairs and walk past them overhearing their conversation

"So we have been out a few times now. and i was wondering if you would want to be my girlfriend if thats somwthing you would like.
"Sure that would be great. i was meaning to ask them same thing."

Then it all.goes silent. I walk back around and see them kissing eachother. I snicker and walk back upstairs with that image still haunting my mind. Out of all the people she could have chosen she picks him. She has a bad taste in guys putting it lightly.

I head off with Steven,Jesse,Jake and Caleb to go paintballing. In the car ride we are all singing along to some random taylor swift song being like yolo. We get to the arena and jump out Calebs Mercedes and head in to be greeted by a young man.

"How many of you will be playing today?"
"Just the four of us"
"Alright head over there to get your paintball guns and safety gear. Have a great day".

We walk on over and get suited up for our intense war and see some girls walk in. Our interests perks up as we see who they are.

Tamika,Courtney,Violet and Artemis have all just entered the arena. If they noticed we were here they probably would have left but we drove in calebs car. She started suiting up and looked around the see the competition and her eyes lay on me. Shes speechless. She turns back around as quickly as she can basically whipping artemis in the face with her pony tail.

Our team play three rounds untill it was our turn to play iboys vs girls. The only girls that were still here was tamikas group so we have to vs them otherwise we dont get to play.

Everyone is hiding and we have just started the game. I run around a corner block and see courtney sniping out jake but instead i shoot her in the back when she shoots jake. so both teams only have three players left. Next to go down was Violet. Artemis shot jesse but died from steven killing her off so now it was 2v1 boys way. Instead of steven getting shot out he walked straight out the boundary on accident and was disqualified.

So now it was just us two. The tension was building and on the rise and when i blinked i lost conplete sight of her. i stood up and walked around the course for a minute or so and coyldnt find her. So i went to the supervisor and asked if she'd left.

Before she could answer i see my red light glowing on and off signalling that im out and i spin around to see tamika lying on the floor with gun in hand in a sniping position. She yella victory and the girls run out jumping excitedly.

I see the girls leave and tamika gives me a liytle head nod and a small smile signalling shes saying thankyou. I see violet jump into the front seat and drive off but our group decides to play one more game before grabbing pizza and driving home.

We ordered pizza after our game ended. I bought a pepperoni with extra bacon and the other guys got a deep fryed hawaiian. We throw all the rubbish in the bin and start to walk out. We hop in the car but caleb drops me off a few houses from my own because he doesnt have enough fuel so i decide to walk.

I hear a loud screech and a bang coming from down the road. All these stupid drivers i think. I continue walking and spot my house on the other side of the road but all something in the middle of the street

I walk over to the figure laying in the middle of the road and make out a human body when im about fifty metres away. I run up to the body.

All i can see is alot blood, a head and leg injury and matted hair. I move the matted hair of the persons face while dialling 911

I see Tamika's bloodied and pale face staring up at me
