The Dream

*Tamika's POV

I may have only been lying here for a few seconds before i heard his voice scream my name but it was long enough to feel like hours. Searing pain throughout my body with the smell and taste of iron coming from my bleeding mouth and that snap you suddenly hear when you break a bone. All at once.

I hear a males voice call out to me but i cant make out who it is because before i know it my sight goes black.

Although i cant see or hear anything i can feel someone picking me up. I can feel the vibrations through the ground and know this person is carrying me.

*Chandlers POV

I Run over and see her lying on the floor with blood dripping down her face arms and legs. Her hair matted and clothes stained with blood coming from her chest. I roll her over on to her side to the recovery position and see a bit of white poking out on her leg. I immediatly know its bone. Frantically i grab my phone and call 911 dispatch. After hanging up the phone i look around for a the vechile that hit her but there is no car in sight along the whole street. Not even in a driveway.

I pick her up and run over to her house almost breaking the door knocking on it. No one answers and i think the worst. I place her on the bench on the porch and grab out her phone. I look at her recent texts and see

Tyler
Jesse
Kaia
Alex
Shay

I look at the conversation between mom and her and figure out they went to dinner. I call up moms cell but it goes straight to voicemail. Not even a tone. Not knowing what to do, I run to Tylers house that is down the street and knock on the door. Hoping for Sydney to answer Tyler answers instead
.
"What are you doing here?"
"Tamika has been in an accident and i cant get ahold of anyone and your better than nothing."
"Oh my god. Is she okay. Ill grab my parents."
"She unconscious and i dont know if shes breathing. Come to the house."

And with that i run back home and see the ambulance arriving. I tell the paramedics what has happened and just as im finished talking tylers parents are here with sydney and tyler. They start yelling all sorts of questions but the paramedics calm them down. Asking if its alright tylers parents instruct tyler and sydney to wait here until my mom comes home and send them to the hospital, and we all jump in the back of the ambulance and speed off down the highway.

I leave four voicemails and six texts on moms phone but she still doesnt answer. Next thing i know they are placing a mask over her mouth to help her breath, injecting her with multiple needles, ripping open her shirt and are putting pressure on the wound and about six other things and the one time.

Obviously calling ahead seven doctors and nurses are waiting at the emergency entrance at the hospital when we get there. They open the ambulance doors and wheel the stretcher in through the hospital. A few nurses have charts out while other doctors are rushing around helping to treat her while patients in the waiting room are watching murmuring to themselves.

They push open doors and immediately get ready for surgery without anyone telling us whats going on. We go and sit in the chairs outside the surgeons workspace in the waiting room and are told whats going on by the nurses.

"All we know so far is that it looks like she has tissue and some bone damage, a broken left leg and broken right foot. A dislocated shoulder with head injuries."

"You know all that from 30 minutes in an ambulance." asks tylers dad Steven
" Its also possible she has broken ribs, fluid building in one lung while the other has collapsed. We wont know for sure until she is out of the first surgery."

"HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW YOUR THE EXPERTS YOUR SUPPOSED TO KNOW EVERYTHING". I scream

" Calm down. This is a hospital. The first surgery we will check the vitals and drain fluid from the lung while trying to fix the other. We will know then if any other internal organs have been damaged."

I soon calm down but are pacing in the hallway. Nurses are conversing between themselves checking charts and documenting what has happened this past hour.

Awakening from my deep slumber i am shaken awake to be told shes still in surgery and that its been four hours since the first operation. I jolt awake and see mom and dad run through the hospital doors. Seeing jesse isnt with them i assume hes at jacksons house with Sam. But i see him run in behind mom with sam and the rest of the guys. Running over to them i tell them about what has happened. Its now 10:42 pm so i grab some money and head to the vending machine for some chips.

With only a few people left in the waiting room i decide im going to see if the surgery has finished. Luckily enough it has just finished and im told i can go in to see her soon. I sprint back to everyone that is still here and tell them the news. And when im finished we are shown to her room. Mom and dad go in first then jesse and sam. Jackson and Harry go in then tyler and sydney and now its my turn.

I slide open the door into the ICU and walk over to her bed. I sit down in the chair next to her hit my knee against the bed with a jolt. I start talking to her telling her how sorry i am and about how i hope she gets better and a little pep talk. I start leaving after being in there for about twenty minutes when i hear a quiet voice.

And i soon realise she is speaking my name.

Sorry i didnt post on saturday. Ive had bronchitis recently. Its basically a really bad cold where all you do is cough. Anyways we hit 100 reads. I know it doesnt seem like much but thanks for your support and all of you guys reading this. I will continue with this story and post next saturday. But can you believe she said chandlers name instead of tylers i mean OMG like tyler is her boyfriend i mean whooaaa.
