You're awoken, per usual, to the smell of something possibly poisonous being made in your kitchen. This was no surprise, at this point.

You heave out of bed, sore from maybe a little too much sleep then you were used to. You pull on a fresh change of clothes before you confront the mess of whatever Sunny was trying to cook for you this morning.

You yawn as you step towards the door, and just as you touch the handle the memory of last night floods back to you. Your knuckles turn white on the handle, and you feel your heart skip into your throat.

What where you supposed to say? Should you even say anything? Was Sunny even awake last night?

You take a deep breath, and open the door.

...surprisingly, there was no Sunny character anywhere to be seen. Whatever you had smelt being cooked was gone from the stove, but the smell still lingered. A hissing cat leaning over the kitchen counter told you were your friend was hiding, though.

You walk over, leaning on the counter and peering over just until you can see the top of the golden sun rays. "Something smells burnt, did you cook something for me?" You try hard not to laugh.

Long hands come over the counter, holding a white plate decorated with what looked to once be either waffles or pancakes. It was impossible to tell, but you doubted either option should be bright pink (looking past the burnt parts).

"It's not as burned as usual, that's great! But why are they pink?"

Fingers fidget on the edge of the counter, and you practically see the red glow from your side of the counter.

Sunny was definitely awake last night.

You try to hold back a laugh as you push the plate over to the side of the counter, giving you room to lean over and peer over the other side. Sunny doesn't notice you, instead curled up in a ball on the floor with his hands over his face.

You flick the top of one of the visible sun rays, sending poor Sunny practically flying through the roof. He turns to look at you, blue eyes wide against the bright red hue of his face.

"Uh... m... morning, sun... sunflower!" He tried to sound cheerful through how clearly flustered he is.

"We can't avoid each other forever, Sunny"

He presses his lips together, quickly flicking away from you as you cock your head to the side. "Y- yes, i kn- know..."

You tap his sun blades with your forehead, and he sighs. "This is... very awkward...".

You sigh back. "Yeah, well, trying to hide behind a counter isn't very much help"

Slowly, Sun pushes himself off the ground, his head and torso turning on pivots to face you. His eyes flick nervously around you, trying to focus on anything but you and your unbearably cute face.

Little did he know you were screaming in the inside.

"You don't have to be so awkward, Sunny!" You laugh as Sun resorts to staring at the counter.

"It... it's hard not to! Moon... he... he, uhm..."

"Kissed me? Yes, I know"

"...he's... he's telling me that... that I should... do it too..."

That caught you off guard. You flush, more than you probably allready were, and swallow the fat ass ball in your throat. "...do... do you wanna?"

Sunny's eyes flick up to you before turning back down and looking at the counter. Slowly, and rather awkwardly, he nods.
