Mother Merry's Letter

Yibo's POV;

I was just busy in my thoughts. Thinking about Mr Stranger who was sitting beside me. When I remember that Mother Merry gave me an envelope I should check it out.

So I dig in my back pack which was on my lap and start searching for that envelope. After a moment I finally found it. I took a glaze to Mr Stranger who is still busy with his nervousness so I decided I should do my thing. I open up the letter.

"Dear yibo,

You were always a bright student among all the kids. Whenever you learn something new and interesting. You always try to teach everyone and help others with the knowledge.

Time pass and you learn to control your emotions, hide your feelings with the help of books or with books. I never want to sent you away but can't help it rules are rules but I try my best to give you a better future.

So without your knowledge I send your academic results to my friends university and after seeing your performance. He decided to give you a chance. What address I gave you is the address of the university.

I know very well that you can crack that entrance exam. If everything goes well than you will be offered a full scholarship in this university. You can do your degree in any major you want.

About the living arrangements I add another address of a place a cafe to be specific. Which belongs to my cousin you will meet her there.

She will inform you everything you have to know. So when you reach Beijing Station take a taxi to the cafe first. Their is some money for you which will help you.

God bless you my child i hope you will survive this cruel world. And whenever you got some free time please come and visit this old woman. "

I was having a hard time to hold back my tears. Mother Merry was always a mother figure for me but i never know that she loves me too. She never show much affection to anyone including me so I always thought that she don't like kids much. She was always strict and deciple everyone if you make mistakes you will definitely getting a punishment no way to avoid it.

But now I think about it she never behave that cruel. She just always maintain a proper deciple and best academic results. She also never stops kids to do their thing like the hobbies kids love to do in their free time.

Mother Merry was always the calm one and never show much emotions. Now I realized that unconsciously i pick this habit from her and that's why she was always extra protective of me because like her I too don't show my emotions in front of strangers and always have a control and calm facial expression.
