Foxy woke up yawning, after a few seconds he realized that he had been lying under the Tall Tree all night, was no one going to look for him? Foxy got up quickly, he still couldn't believe what had happened. Roxanne betrayed him, and he was rejected like a child. Foxy dreamed of having children with Roxanne, helping them grow up and teaching them magic, but now he knows that will never happen. Tears spilled from Foxy's eyes, but he quickly wiped them away with his hand. He asked himself, why should he be a leader if he feels like an outcast? Nothing will be the same without his beloved, Foxy sighed heavily. He looked towards the forest where their house lay, he felt like in a strange place now, he didn't want to go home, not in this state, but he couldn't hide forever. I have to go back. Foxy thought sadly. He was slowly walking towards the forest with a sad face, he still couldn't stop thinking about Roxanne and Dark. As he walked, he looked with a cool gaze at the forest he loved to observe, now he thought he was going back to that time when he noticed Roxanne and Dark. Foxy shook his head desperately, Roxanne doesn't care, he's just a liar and a traitor. As much as he tried to think Roxanne was evil, he couldn't convince himself otherwise. He had always regarded Roxanne as a good, helpful, sweet and innocent girl. He couldn't believe she had betrayed him like this. When he was close to the house, he saw Whiteflower in the doorway, who quickly ran to him.
"Foxy? Can you hear me? You look terrible!" Whiteflower mumbled.
Foxy didn't answer, he just shoved Whiteflower and started walking toward the house.
"Foxy, wait!" He heard Whiteflower, but he still didn't react.
"Go away." Foxy growled, a sharp pain in his voice.
He couldn't hear Whiteflower then, but he could feel his presence behind him. Foxy quickly entered the house, then he went straight up the stairs to his room. As soon as he entered his room, he closed the door and laid down on the bed. Tears were pouring out of his eyes again, he wondered if he should give up being the leader. He felt powerless in this situation, as if he couldn't tell Roxanne how much he loved her. What will I do now? Foxy thought. He snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed Gold entering his room. Foxy ignored her, covering his face with his hands. When he felt a hand on his shoulder, he jumped up and looked at Gold.
"I see you're back." Gold said in a calm voice.
"What do you care?" Foxy asked with tears in his eyes.
Gold got out of bed as if she hadn't expected such an answer.
"Calm down." Gold mumbled.
"What do you want?" Foxy growled.
"Listen, Foxy, Roxanne didn't mean to upset you or hurt your feelings, she.."
"I don't care anymore, she broke my heart, that's enough for me, I'm done!" Foxy shouted hostilely.
Gold fell silent without looking at Foxy as Foxy thought of Roxanne again, tears was pouring out of his eyes again. He regretted everything he did for Roxanne, she betrayed him like an outcast.
"At least listen to what I have to say!" Gold begged furiously and impatiently.
Foxy then got out of bed and straightened up to show that he was taller than Gold. His eyes flashed red, and Gold took one step back with a worried expression on her face.
"No," Foxy replied firmly. "You and Roxanne leave me alone."
Gold sighed heavily and made a serious face.
"I'll talk to you when you've calmed down, see you later." Gold said calmly, then left the room closing the door behind her.
Foxy's eyes stopped glowing red, he looked down at his hands, then started crying again. Why is this happening? He asked in his mind. He felt that nothing could comfort him now, only memories. He felt that he no longer wanted to be the leader, nor did he want to have a deputy. Foxy couldn't take it anymore, he started destroying everything Roxanne was on, paintings, signature, everything. He wanted Roxanne out of his life so it would hurt less, so she would never hurt him. Will he be happy here? The thought that Roxanne was still alive in that house made him feel even more desperate. After he destroyed everything related to Roxanne, Foxy fell limply to his knees. After a moment, a new plan occurred to him. I can't live here anymore, this place makes me suffer more here. Foxy thought. I have to run away, it's the only option.
It started to get dark, Foxy was standing under the Tall Tree with a sad face. He had so many memories of this place, talking to Roxanne, or welcoming Whiteflower as a new member. I would like to go back to those years again. Foxy thought. Tears welled up in Foxy's eyes, he couldn't believe he was leaving this place, but he told himself it was the right choice. Roxanne would then be able to live with Dark as she wanted, and he might find a better place. He looked at the Tall Tree one last time, then he walked past it and started walking towards the nearby town where Whiteflower used to walk. As he walked, he began to slowly miss his best friend, Sting, he didn't say goodbye to him, which hurt Foxy more. I'm sorry, friend. Foxy thought. Suddenly, he started to hate Roxanne and Gold. Foxy felt used and manipulated. He always thought he could rely on Gold and Roxanne, but they both let him down. If it wasn't for Gold, he wouldn't have confessed to Roxanne that he loved her, and the future would have been different than now. He wished that now Roxanne and Gold would feel the same pain as he did. He hated being the leader because of love and rejection, and his deputy turned out to be a liar. When he was about to cross the border into their valley in the woods, Foxy stopped. He looked ahead with a worried look, unexpectedly hesitating over his decision. Once he's gone, he'll never be able to see Sting or the familiar corners of their valley. He chose between freedom and friends. Foxy then made a menacing face with tears in his eyes and looked ahead. I don't need liars, I need myself. Foxy thought to himself. As he took one step forward, he heard a call. Foxy turned sharply, he noticed Sting running towards him, Foxy trembled, he didn't expect his friend here, he wanted to hide but he already knew it was pointless.
"Foxy, what are you doing here?" Sting asked.
Foxy quickly wiped the tears from his eyes and gave Sting a grim expression.
"I'm...just patrolling." Foxy lied.
Sting raised one eyebrow.
"So..far away from our home? I don't remember you patrolling so close to the border." Sting said uncertainly.
Foxy then felt the urge to tell his friend everything, but what if he tells everything to the members of the group? Foxy shook his head, he was sure he could trust his best friend.
"Sting, I need to tell you something." Foxy said calmly, grabbing Sting's arm.
Sting looked confused, but there was curiosity in his eyes.
"I know this will be hard for you, but...it has to happen." Foxy mumbled.
"But what? Tell me what's going on!" Sting replied with a slightly trembling voice.
Foxy then stopped looking at Sting and looked at the border of their valley territory. Sting stood by his side with a scared expression on his face.
"I'm leaving." Foxy replied.
"What?! Why? D...don't you like me as a friend anymore?" Sting stammered desperately.
"You were the best friend I could wish for, don't even say that." Foxy said quickly, he added, "I can't live here any longer, many other places are waiting for me."
"Please tell me it's a joke, you can't leave." Sting begged.
"Forgive me, Sting, but this place is not where I felt happy anymore." Foxy replied grimly with a sad face.
Sting tried not to cry, there was silence around them for a moment, then Sting hugged Foxy. Foxy freaked out at this, he hadn't expected it.
"But...who will be our leader? It won't be the same without you." Sting was shaking. "I...I'm scared, I feel like I'm terrible and everyone hates me, what...what will I do?"
Foxy, hearing Sting's trembling and terrified voice, he hugged him with his arms to calm him down.
"I'm sure there will be someone better who will be a good leader." Foxy said, he added as he stopped hugging Sting, "Don't worry about rejecting Gold, she didn't deserve your love anyway."
Sting smiled, wiping his nose from the stress. Foxy smiled weakly and extended his hand to Sting in farewell, Sting shook his hand without hesitation.
“It was nice to meet you, Sting." Foxy said.
"Y-you too." Sting stammered.
Foxy took one last look at the sad Sting and the valley before grimly crossing the border without looking back. However, when he wanted to say something else to Sting, he couldn't see him anymore, Foxy sighed heavily and continued walking, but more slowly. He could see another moor ahead of him, stars was shining in the sky. Foxy felt cold on his body, but he tried to ignore it as he found a good place to hide, hide and make a night. So he started running across the moor to get as far away from the valley as possible so that no one would decide to look for him.
It was late at night, Foxy was walking across the open space, feeling tired and exhausted. In addition, he felt hungry when he noticed a pool from above the hills, he began to walk slowly to it. He also felt cold on his hands and face, he wished he could lie down in a warm place and rest. As soon as he reached the pool, he looked at his reflection, then he fell limply to the snow, seeing nothing but darkness.
