As the person emerged from the titans, everyone was left in shock. Mikasa and Armin both jumped down the buildings and ran over to Eren, Mikasa wrapped her arms around him, tears threatened to come out her eyes as she checked whether Eren had a heartbeat.
''His heart is beating....'' Mikasa broke down as she held Eren close to her body.
You were still positioned at the top of the building, with the rest, having no idea how to feel right now, seeing Eren pop out of the titan body like that was more than a shock to the system, it probably made things much harder for you now, considering he was a titan. You held onto Jean's shoulder as you continued to stare down below

''Then Eren did all this?'' Your voice trailed off as you looked around at the floor

The rest were stationed waiting for their next orders. Connie was sat on the steps as he explained to the others how they got gas. You were seated next to Jean, just in thought about everything that has happened, still unable to believe it.
''Th-then everyone who isn't here right now is...'' Krista asked, but her voice trailed off

''Are you sure? Even Mikasa?'' Asked Ymir,
''No...I though Mikasa got back with Jean and the others....Jean don't tell me Mikasa was injured....?''

''I can't say anything....we were forced to swear an oath of secrecy. Although I don't know how effective it's gonna be...'' Jean answered
''You were ordered not to tell?'' Ymir asked
''What the hell?'' She mumbled in disbelief
''It's not the type of thing you can keep covered up...I'm sure the whole human race will know about it soon enough...'' Jean said quietly as he stared at the floor
''That is....if the human race still exists by then....'' His voice trailed off, now this caught your attention, you glanced up at him and just frowned

A loud bang was heard throughout the area, startling everyone. They realized it was a cannon fire that came from inside the wall. You, Reiner, Jean and Annie stormed off onto the buildings to see what was going on. Your eyes widened at the sight infront, sweat droplets forming on your faces as you stared ahead.

Eren had transformed into a titan, well not really a titan, it was more of a skeleton, taking everyone by surprise. Eren opened his eyes with them consequently widening. He snapped his arm out of the titan muscle after some struggle. Eren jumped down and asked if everyone was okay. Mikasa and Armin were clearly shaken, but unharmed by the sudden event.
''Earlier, I was just thinking that I wanted to protect you from the artillery fire. That's why that body had no real functionality or durability and just crumbled.'' Eren announced
(Armin's POV)
''Is Eren a titan...? Or does he make a titan appear and then control it...? I bet Eren doesn't even know the answer to that himself right now....what the hell is going with him...?''
''Armin....can you tell me that you can convince the Garrison that I am no threat to them....I believe you'' Eren stated as he looked at Armin now

''Eren, why are you entrusting me with such an important decision?'' Armin asked in surprise

''Because when things are messed up, you always figure out the right thing to do'' Eren smiled at Armin, as did Mikasa, taking him by surprise
''We both believe you'' Mikasa added
After some thinking, Armin announces that he will go and convince them. Armin spoke from the bottom of his heart and tried to convince the guy to stop their aims towards Eren, as he was speaking, the rest of the soldiers were scared and sweat was rolling down their temples, but Armin explained thoroughly why he wasn't a threat to mankind, you were listening to Armin carefully and his words stuck by you, you then looked over at Eren and stared at him
💭 ''I don't understand the situation anymore...Eren seems to look confused by all this too...maybe he really didn't know...''

''I just arrived, but the situation was relayed to me by a rider.''

''As of this moment, I'm putting you in command of the reinforcements.''
''I have a feeling....It would be worth our while....to listen to what these kids have to say.''
After speaking with Commander Pixis, the next plan was to plug up the hole in the wall. Despite not fully understanding his power, Eren had decided he will do it. Commander Pixis had now announced to the rest of the soldiers about the plan to plug the wall with his ''power'', earning mixed reaction from the crowd.
You were standing below with the rest, seeing Eren up on the wall surprised you, but you listened carefully to the announcement and it still seemed to bother you, you didn't really know how to feel anymore, so much had happened. Once the announcement was done, the plan was initiated.
