Rudra's POV

I came back once the work is over... I couldn't stay there peacefully leaving my papa alone here... I missed her badly......

Which made me realize that she is not what I presumed in my life... She has much more place in my life than I thought.... That made me both happy and scared.

Happy because finally I am having someone in my life and enjoying that person's presence and ready to share my personal place with her....

Scared because... She already said she doesn't love me..... What if I am boring to her... What if she didn't reciprocate the same... I am scared to face another rejection... And that to from my papa will broke me to that extend from which I can never come out....

Me : is that possible...

You know right... She was the only daughter of a rich man.. She was pampered alot and lived a luxurious life before.... But see now... She is living a happy and normal life with you without any complaints....

Using the spare key I opened my apartment.... Nope... Our house.. It's midnight... I know she would be sleeping I don't want to disturb her sleep so I took bath and changed into comfortable cloth in guest room and entered into ours...

There she is.... My papa... Sleeping like a kid hugging my Pillow tightly throwing her hands and legs above it....... Ahh... Now my pillow replaced my place....it won't last I would get back to my place....

I crawled up near her and slowly took my pillow from her hold and layed there.... Like a magnet she clings to me..... Throwing her leg and hand above me and placing her head on my chest she snuggled more into me....

I pulled her more and hugged her tightly..... Ahh... Surreal... How much I missed this cuddles of my papa... I kissed her hair and forehead... She buried her face in my neck getting comfortable position to sleep....

An contented smile automatically comes to my lips........

Finally after a week I am back to my peaceful place.. With my papa in my arms..... I will get that much needed sleep I missed for the past week......

I drifted into sleep with my papa in my arms......

Author's POV....

Rudra's deep and peaceful sleep was disturbed by a scream....

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

He sat up due to that sudden noice.... Then only it stopped....

Nandhini was looking at him with surprised expression. . She couldn't believe her senior Citizen is right in front of her eyes  

Rudra : Ena achu papa..... En kathuna....

He asked rubbing his eyes.... He still didn't get required level of sleep....

Nandhini was looking at him blinking time to time...

Rudra : Ena ma... En apdi pakura.....

Nandhini : Old man...... Nejamave nenga thana.... Nalaiku thane varatha soneinga...

Rudra : ama... But i missed you so much atha sekirama mudicha odane kelambi vanthutein.... Aparam...

She didn't even let him complete.. She throws herself on him... Hugging him tightly..... He caught her securely in his arms........no word were exchanged after sometime... He fled wetness on his shoulder that made him panic.... He broke the hug and looked at his papa who is crying now.... That pained him more...

He wiped her tears and cupped her face....

Rudra : Ena achu ma....en alura... Atha naa. Vanthutein la... Hummm....

She couldn't control her emotions she again hugged him......

Nandhini : Old. Man..... Don't leave me like that...... I missed you badly.. Inimel intha mari work vantha enaiyum unga kooda kotitu ponga.....promise me....

Rudra : I missed you too papa..... ...

I can't promise that to you ma..... Work is work I can't avoid those kind of travelling..... Anga unaiyum kotitu poita.. Na antha work ah pappena ila un kuda time spend panuvena solu...

Nandhini : Nenga unga work ah parunga na unga kudaiye irukein..... I won't ask you to spend time with me......

Rudra: Papa... I don't speak sugar coated words and fake promise just to convince you...

Nee apdi solalam you won't ask my time nu.... But I can never do my work at peace.... Unaku time kudukaladrathu tha en mind la odite irukum.... I can never neglect you keeping you near me....

She just hummed and hugged him again didn't said anything else.... But his words gave her another idea.... Which she didn't spoke to him now........

She understood what he was trying to convey.... That made him smile and kissed her hair......

Time skips....

3 months later.......

Both Rudra and Nandhini become more closer..... Random hugs,Cheek and forehead kisses didn't surprise them as they get used to them but those acts still had strong effect on each other.....

Nandhini wrote her final semester and finished her final project  review too..... In simple words she completed her masters degree....

She already planned to surprise him...... She got placed in the same construction firm where Rudra was working......

She didn't said anything about him... Even during  their orientation program Rudra was not there that was taken care by another senior staff...

Tomorrow was her first day in the office... She was going meet him there again but not as his papa... But as his colleague..... She was more eager to see her old man's reaction......

On the other side.... Rudra already realized his love towards his papa... And was planning to give her a surprise proposal on her birthday coming next month....
