CHAPTER SEVEN !
✧.*
DARYL HAD NO LUCK with finding anything on his hunt that he cut short. he did find a bag of chips that he absolutely demolished within no time, but that was just about it. the sky was beginning to set, so he was making his way back to the farm. usually, he'd stay out, but knowing estella was back at the farm and upset, he was obviously going to go back to her.
the letter made him feel things that he didn't even know he could feel. sadness, guilt, and love all at once. he wanted to find her mom more than anything now.
he felt like he owed her that. especially after everything he said to her about her dad and all. he just felt protective over her. he didn't want her to get hurt. that was the last thing he ever wanted to happen to her. especially not by randall, not after what randall had told him about his group with girls.
"daryl! we need your help gettin' randall back to the barn." rick yelled, just as daryl got back.
"okay." daryl simply replied, walking over to the shed where they kept randall, pulling him out and closer to the barn.
daryl was gripping an afraid randall's arm. "no, no, no."
"shut up." daryl replied, as rick and shane opened the barn.
"wait, wait, wait," randall said, desperately as daryl pulled him into the barn.
"over here." rick said, pointing to the middle.
shane took him from daryl, putting him where rick ordered. "this'll all be over soon." shane said, putting a blindfold on him.
"w-what?" randall panicked. "wait, what's gonna be over soon? h-hey, hey, no, no, no!"
randall continued to let out whimpers of fear as rick loaded up his gun. daryl stood guard, making sure nobody was coming in and out of the barn.
"would you like to stand or kneel?" rick asked.
"no, no, no, please- ah!" daryl kneeled randall down anyway, yanking his head up by his hair so he was in rick's direct shot.
rick looked at shane as randall continuously cried. shane gave him a nod. daryl just gave him a blank stare, not nodding like shane did. he didn't care what happened to randall, and what didn't happen to randall - as long as there was no problem.
"do you have any final words?" rick asked, holding up the gun.
randall had no words. he just cried, begging, pleading for rick not to take his life. he begged to live, begged for anything, to any existing god there was that there would be a change. that these men would change their minds and he could live to see another day. randall wasn't ready to die. not yet. especially not under the hands of these guys.
