Nayeon:
babe my schedule is ending late today :(
don't stay up for me ok?

Jeongyeon:
that's ok, we can call tomorrow
you have the day off right?

Nayeon:
yes
I wanna see you 😭
Can i come over? or if you want to you can come over?

Jeongyeon:
we can plan something tomorrow
for now you just focus on work ok? have you eaten?

Nayeon:
yep I just had dinner, you?

Jeongyeon:
me too
don't push yourself too hard and remember to hydrate yourself and take breaks babe, you got this ❤️

Nayeon:
I have to go now
I love you so so much

Jeongyeon:
I love you too

Nayeon was in the midst of her promotions for her solo debut, while Jeongyeon was slowly returning from her hiatus. She participated in most of the schedules for their new comeback, but she didn't know if she was ready to fully come back. With Nayeon being busy with her solo preparations and schedules, and Jeongyeon not participating in some of their schedules, the couple have not been able to spend a lot of time together. Most of the time, they could only call each other almost every night to hear each other's voices.

Since Nayeon was going to have the next day off, Jeongyeon decided to surprise her.

Jeongyeon:
hey are you home?

Momo:
yep why?

Jeongyeon:
can i come over? Nayeon unnie's schedule is ending late tonight and I want to surprise her

Momo:
yeah of course
could you bring us some food pleaseeeee

Jeongyeon:
yes boss 🫡

Jeongyeon told her sister that she was going to spend the night at Nayeon's dorm and she made her way there. Not forgetting to get some food and snacks for Momo and Sana who were also at the dorm.

Jeongyeon arrived at NaMoSa's dorm and she sat in the living room, catching up with her friends as she waited for Nayeon. At some point they all got tired, so Jeongyeon made her way to Nayeon's room.

She laid down on the bed, scrolling through her social medias, and watching her girlfriend's solo content on youtube proudly. After a while, she succumbed to the darkness and fell asleep.

Nayeon was exhausted. After a full day of schedules, she was so glad that she was finally on the way home to rest.

Nayeon:
hey you're probably asleep already but i wanted to tell you that i'm done with work and  i'm on the way back to the dorm!
sleep tight my love 🫶🏽

Nayeon sent a text to Jeongyeon to tell her that she was finally done for the day. Nayeon missed Jeongyeon so much and even more so now that she's doing solo promotions. She couldn't wait to spend time with her girlfriend and hoped they could see each other on her day off. It was currently almost 3am and she was on the way back home, finally getting her rest.

"Thank you unnie, see you," Nayeon said goodbye to her manager as she walked into the apartment building.

She entered in the pin to their apartment, opening the door softly, so she doesn't accidentally wake her friends in case they were asleep. Nayeon made her way to the kitchen first, grabbing a glass of water and then she went to her room.

When she opened the door, she was surprised to see that her small lamp was switched on, and that there was someone sleeping on her bed. More specifically, her lover. Nayeon almost burst into tears seeing the other girl sleeping peacefully on her bed.

Nayeon placed her bags down and sat slowly on the bed. She caressed the girl's hair and cupped her cheeks, causing her to wake up.

"You're back," Jeongyeon smiled sleepily.

"And you're here," Nayeon smiled even more.

"I wanted to surprise you, I missed you," Jeongyeon sat up and cupped Nayeon's face, scanning her every feature that she missed so much.

"You didn't have to babe, and I missed you too," Nayeon leaned in and let their foreheads meet, as they took in each other's presence.

Jeongyeon closed the gap between them as they shared a kiss and a sigh of relief.

"I missed that," Nayeon pulled away and grinned.

"I'm going to go take a shower first, and then cuddles?" Nayeon said.

"What if I joined you in your shower?" Jeongyeon joked.

"Pervert," Nayeon slapped her playfully, before leaving the room to go and wash up.

When she returned, she wasn't surprised to see that her girlfriend had fallen back to sleep. Nayeon slipped under the blanket and cuddled into Jeongyeon's body, stirring her awake for a moment.

"Jaljayo," Nayeon whispered.

"Good night," Jeongyeon replied.

Like instinct, Jeongyeon pulled Nayeon closer to her as they both fell asleep in each other's arms for the first time in a long time.
