It was a normal day at the Krusty Krab. Spongebob being all energetic and always like, an hour early or something. Squidward sat up in his bed as he woke up and sighed. "Another day.. Another day for work and..Him." Squidward said in annoyance. He got up and started getting ready. After he was done and all ready for work, He went outside and walked to the Krusty Krab in his usual "tired-of-life" expression. As he arrived to the Krusty Krab, He peered through the glass door to see Spongebob already in there, focusing on cleaning the entirety of Krusty Krab until it was spotless, Like every day.. "..Maybe I can sneak past him? Then he probably won't notice me." Squidward thought, and he saw Spongebob's back facing Squidward. It was the perfect time now, As he ran through and to the men's restroom. He sighed in relief, until he noticed some squeaky footsteps of a certain sponge heading towards the men's restroom. "Squidward! I know you're in here! Why're you hiding from me?" Spongebob said as Squidward mumbled: "Oh shit." Squidward ran to the one of the stalls and closed the door shut. Just in time before Spongebob opened the door and went inside. "Hello? Squidward? Are you in here?" Spongebob questioned. "No! Go away!" Squidward shouted in annoyance, as Spongebob heard him. "..Oh, Okay.. Aha.." Spongebob sighed in sadness as he walked away, out of the men's restroom. Something struck Squidward. "Was.. Was I maybe too harsh? No.. Nnoo. Why would I care?" Squidward shook his head left and right, then exit the men's bathroom. He was gonna go to the cash register as he would normally do until he heard faint sobs in the corner of the kitchen. "..Spongebob?" Squidward called out for Spongebob's name as he slowly walked up to the corner, and saw Spongebob crying. "G-Go away!" Spongebob shouted at Squidward in frustration. Squidward was surprised, Spongebob had never shouted at him before. "..I'm gonna stay right here until you feel better, Understand?" Squidward looked away from Spongebob, who's eyes lightened up. "R..Really? You would do that?" Asked Spongebob. "Of course. I never meant to be...mean towards you." Squidward replied. "It's fine, Squidward. It really is." Spongebob wiped his tears away and hugged Squidward who quickly looked back at Spongebob. "..." Squidward was silent. "I cant believe I'm gonna do this.." Squidward mumbled, and then hugged Spongebob back.
